Sally Hershberger Shampoo and Conditioner
http://www.sallyhershberger.com/wavy_shampoo.html
hope this helps........
Suave...I use it and my hair is great. I also like Garnier Fructis.
herbal essances smooth %26amp; silky shampoo and conditioner......i got big bottles of it at target for $3 each!!
I use this line called B- balanced by Benniefactor. The stuff is amazing!!!!! Not sure if it has sodium lauryl sulphate though!
For me, I use Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner. It works really well, you can have soft and sleek and shiny hair, and on top of that it leaves your hair smelling great. I always get compliments on how my hair look and smell and etc. try it outt.
I use tresemme and i think it works wonder for any hair type. it doesn't leave your hair feeling all plastic-y like pantene does.
Redken All Soft is excellent for this, but if your hair is oily - even a little bit - use Redken Clear Moisture, which is lighter.
And never, EVER, should you use Pantene!!! The PH is so high it damages your hair to the point of breakage, and leaves a coat of waxy stuff (that's what makes your hair ';appear'; healthy) on it that builds up with every use and eventually weighs the hair down. You'll have to have clarifying treatments to get that stuff out!
i have wavy hair too and i have tried lots of things. the thing that worked best for me was pantene hydrating curls.
Try Big%26amp;Sexy's shampoo and conditioner. It'll leave your hair smelling good and soft.

Shampoo/conditioner to get silky, smooth, healthy looking hair?
My personal experiences are best with Sunsilk, but Garnier Fructis and Herbal Essences work pretty well too.
sunsilk works really good.
Most of my friends like pantene(:
Personally I like sunsilk straight to perfection or Herbal essences none of your frizzness. :)
sunsilk worked okay for me.
but the one that i like most ( i have really needy hair and have tried mulitiple brands) is garnier fructis sleek and shine.
its pretty cheap ( 4 $ a pop or less)
and i felt that its the only shampoo that truely made my hair nice and smooth.
also john frieda ( a bit more expensive) frizz-ease serum works really well!!
happy hair :D

Good hair products(shampoo, conditioner,l鈥?in lotion etc)for flyaway, frizzy and wavy shoulder length hair.?
I am an Asian and have black coarse naturally wavy hair that's one length cut at shoulder length. It is a bit thick and tends to have nicer wavy when it's wet after washing my hair. After my hair dries naturally, it has loose messy waves that is very frizzy and tends to flyaway. The strands of my hair will stick out that makes it looks very messy as if I didn't comb my hair. Is there any brand of shampoo and conditioner that will combat the frizz and make my waves nicer while moisturising my hair at the same time? Hopefully the brands can be found easily in supermarket and drug store(eg. Pantene, Sun Silk, Loreal,Charles Worthington etc).I live in Singapore where the climate is hot and humid all year round. I do not colour my hair and hope that I can achieve nice natural waves without using any heat products. Besides shampoo and conditioner, is there any other hair products you love? Thank you for taking your time to help me!Good hair products(shampoo, conditioner,l鈥?in lotion etc)for flyaway, frizzy and wavy shoulder length hair.?

i know that kind of problems since opening until i closed the salon, Ive been working in salon for more than a year, i actually know that problem since my sister also have that kind of hair. why dont you try Schwarzkopf product, you try their total repair treatment it nicer on hair to make your hair soft and healthy then you can use their moisture kick conditioner, its a leave in styles in a convenient bottle which you can carry it anywhere since you said that you live in country where he weather is hot. so you can spray it anytime of the day.
and about your hair styles dint just thinned around, their are style that compliment waxy hair, ask some stylist about it.
and setting up your hair, used some curler and some styling product that can tamed your hair. try some cream based product
i know you can do it girl..
I would thin out the inner hair next time you go to get a haircut and then apply frizz ease by john frieda! great product , have been using it for yrs. That way, when you blow dry your hair, people won't even notice inside the hair , just the top layer and youcut your style time down a lot.

The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Kroger, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Duane Reade, Safeway, and select Wal-Mart and CVS. Its the best! You'll love it!!!
http://www.organixhair.com/
Don't wash your hair every day. Wash it every other day. Don't use shampoo anymore. You can wash your hair with conditioner or check out Wen Cleansing Conditioner - great stuff: http://www.chazdean.com/ (I don't know if they ship to Singapore).
Use a good styling product and put it in your hair when it is wet and let your hair air dry. Or you can, after you put in the styling product, wait until your hair is about 90% dry, then wrap it in a bun and leave it for about 30 minutes until it is fully dry. Take it out and you should have beautiful, gentle waves.
I had the same problem and found the solution really cheap! Herbal essences ';break's over'; shampoo and conditioner worked wonders. Stopped the frizz and flyaways, and it has like silk proteins and pearl complex to hydrate the hair and make it look shiny and gorgeous! Give it a try!

Is using Dove shampoo/conditioner a good choice?
Just asking, 'cause people here say not to use hair products from drugstores.
What are some good brands that will shine dull hair and make it healthy? Is using Dove shampoo/conditioner a good choice?
well, I would thinkg so. I mean if they're soaps and other products are good, and full of moisturisers, y not their shampoo%26amp;conditioners.
Panteene ProV is a good brand, Optimum is the best for soft, shiny hair.Is using Dove shampoo/conditioner a good choice?
It makes your hair seem weightless.

www.shiseidocity.blogspot.com
I actaully use Dove shampoo and conditioner. I like it its' gentile. I find it makes my hair flat though, and I have really puffy hair. I dont know if you would mind that part. And it is pretty inexpensive.
I guess I would suggest it, it isn't the best I tried. I like Outragous (made by Revlon) It smells like perfume.
I personally love just about everything Dove makes, including hair care. My hair always feels healthy when I use it. Like all shampoos and conditioners though, you have to switch out once in a while or you get build-up.
I also use Doves deoderant, cleansing face cloths, etc...Dove rocks, haha
It all comes down to your personal preference.... You'll get people who say they like it and those who don't... What one person likes somebody else may hate... perhaps it's too soft of a smell for one person, or as somebody else said, it makes their hair flat...
My husbands mother bought me one of the Dove kits for Christmas because it was supporting something (forget what but she buys things that support women because she's a breast cancer survivor) and I personally like it. I like the soft feel of my hair after, I like the smell as well... I like all the products I've tried from Dove...the only thing I think I haven't tried is the deodorant.

Whats the best shampoo/conditioner for a guy with long, thick, curly hair?
you want a shampoo and conditioner that is moisturizing or says it may have avacado oil or . curly hair is naturally dry in texture, so a heavy moisturizing routine will help to defizz also. if using salon brand redken allsoft is fabulous. if using over the counter ie walmart cvs eckerd ect try dove moisturizing or tresemee . stay away from garnier and herbal essenceWhats the best shampoo/conditioner for a guy with long, thick, curly hair?

Ever had a Shampoo/ Conditioner Bottle Fall on Your Foot in the Shower?
Is it just my family and I or are we the only ones that constantly have our toes beat-up in the shower by the shampoo, conditioner and body soap bottles???Ever had a Shampoo/ Conditioner Bottle Fall on Your Foot in the Shower?
No, I have had it fall, just not on my foot.Ever had a Shampoo/ Conditioner Bottle Fall on Your Foot in the Shower?
No, everyone does that. Who doesn't? You should get like a storage thingy to put in your shower. They are sometimes called shower caddy's. You can find them almost anywhere. Even at Wal-Mart. Or if you want a high-profile one, you can find one on the internet somewhere or at a store like Bed, Bath, And Beyond.
my shampoo always falls on my foot no matter what.
dam that sucks hopefully u can come up with solutions to prevent that from happening again
yes. both fell on my foot/toes. and i can't scream since my parents are there and they'll rush in and see what's wrong and get worried. so i have to hold my screaming in.
Yes I have and it hurts.

I have it happen quite a few times, and they hurt when they are full!
nope, it happened to mt tons of times, one time a full bottle fell on my big toe, and a few weeks later the nail fell off.
Omg it has happened to me a lot, But man did It hurt

What type of shampoo/conditioner should a guy with long hair use?
it's easy to over-shampoo, especially long hair. Don't shampoo every time you shower, unless you have naturally oily hair and scalp. I like systeme biolage and paul mitchell products, available at a beauty supply store or a salon. I've found that pomades or other leave-in conditioners (same brands are good) are good for avoiding frizz. What type of shampoo/conditioner should a guy with long hair use?

Well, that depends because they have
soap for guys now thats like soap and shampoo together
specifically because guys don't use pantene and stuff i think its Old spice but I'm not sure. But if that doesn't help try
like a shampoo that says for normal hair

Just dyed my hair brunette what is the best shampoo/conditioner for brunettes??
Any suggestions ..anything youve tried that works really well to keep your brunette color looking deep and rich??? Thanks in advance!!Just dyed my hair brunette what is the best shampoo/conditioner for brunettes??
John Frieda Brilliant BrunetteJust dyed my hair brunette what is the best shampoo/conditioner for brunettes??
I think you should use Biolage: Colour
It's really good for all colours, but it REALLY brings out brunette. In addition, it gives the right amount of moisture and whatnot to your hair so that it's nice and soft and pretty.
It's what I used when I switched colours to blonde, and what I used when I switched back to my natural dark brown colour.
I use this and my hair is still the same choclaty brown it was when i first dyed it!

I straighten my hair everyday. I use Heat damage protection from Tresseme. What's a good shampoo & conditioner?
I don't want to heat damage my hair. I want it to be silky and shiny. What's a good product or shampoo or conditioner for my hair? Thanks answerers. :]I straighten my hair everyday. I use Heat damage protection from Tresseme. What's a good shampoo %26amp; conditioner?
Okay, let's first start with the every day thing. As a fellow curiled hair, I have been told that our hair is naturally (in most cases) dry. That means we do not need to shampoo and condition every day. While I do when it's curly, you know how you need to reset the curl from looking frizzy. I don't when I've straightened. Ok, let's review:
1) If you straighten, cap it up for 2-3 days. Your natural hair oils are the bes thing to protect from damage. Re-flatiron and blow dry as neccessary, but don't do the whole she-bang again, it's murderous to your hair.
2) Get good product. Your best line of defense i've found over my 10 years of straightening are:
a) a good leave in conditioner (i.e. redline anit snap, tigi ego boost). your want to put it all over, or section by section as you straighten.
b) something to soften the blow of the harsh blow drying (i.e. altima straightening balm, bumble and bumble's defrizz, paul mitchell,'s smoothing).
c) a light coat to protect mostly your ends and any 'dry areas you have', the very back of my head seems to be dry for instance (i.e. peratin has a great balm, don't know the exact name, it's liquid but not heavy or go very light on those areas with paul mitchell's super skinny serum because it's a bit heavier).
I know used all expensive name brand products. It's not because i'm a label snob. It's becasue most of the 'commercial producers' use alcohol in their products, which ultimiately dry out your hair. Even the one's that claim to rehydrate!
This is, as you can see from the lengthy entry, my best advice.
:)I straighten my hair everyday. I use Heat damage protection from Tresseme. What's a good shampoo %26amp; conditioner?
Hey I know how it is! I flat iron every day too. Of course you know that heat damages you hair and nothing can reverse the damage but an awesome shampoo and conditioner to use that I promise you will LOVE!!! Is the Redken All Soft. You should also try the deep conditioner they make it is called Heavy Cream. My best friend is a stylist and she uses it and reccomended it to me. I have been using it for a year now. It makes your hair so soft and healthy looking. It is more expensive about $15 a bottle where I live. But well worth every penny!!!!!
I don't like tresseme heat protection ';I have it'; It does not work that well to protect your hair when flat ironing.
I like CHI shampoo, conditioner and hair serum
but I might also give bedhead try
There's a conditioning masque and heat protection cream made by Ion that I use for my hair, I blow dry and straighten everyday and my hair is never dull or frizzy, you can top of with some john freida frizz ease too. the Ion products can be found online or at a beauty supply store like Sally Beauty.
bedhead has really good shampooes and conditioners plus they smell really good.
dove has a very good shampoo and conditioner for heat treated hair.
Head and shoulders, Dove, Pantene, and yeah..

What's your favorite shampoo or conditioner?
I love the John Frieda range. What's your favorite shampoo or conditioner?
I've found very little difference in performance among shampoos and conditioners. It seems that the main issue is advertising. I base my choice solely on two things:
1. Smell
2. Price
I generally buy a brand from Zellers called ';Truly'; which is their generic brand but they have a 2 in 1 that smells exactly like fructis for half the price. I tried it out and compared it to fructis and aussie and found no difference at all. My hair is clean and soft and I have more green in my jeans. What's your favorite shampoo or conditioner?
Matrix Sleek Look is the absolute best shampoo/conditioner I've ever used! It makes your hair so silky, shiny and smooth every time!
i love my bumble and bumble leave in conditioner!
i would definatley recommend it!
i really like the new root awakening shampoo and conditioner from john frieda
Aussie-Clean and Mend ( I think) or Herbal Essences- Coconut Milk
I love anything by Pantene or Garnier Fructise(:

Do hotels reuse those little shampoo - conditioner - lotion bottles?
I don't think they reuse them. I hope not.
I know at restaurants they purchase large containers of catchup, salt, etc. and refill the small containers that are on the tables.
SO
I wouldn't be surprised if hotels buy in large quantities and buy small bottles and fill them up.

Does it REALLY matter what shampoo/conditioner you use?
When you go to the salon, there are a million different brands, types, etc. But when it comes to shampoo/conditioner, does it really matter?? If so, what do you like??Does it REALLY matter what shampoo/conditioner you use?
It REALLY does matter. Pretty much anything you buy in the store is watered down. Its cheaper per bottle, yes. But you are forced to use twice as much to wash your hair. Also the additives they use to ';water it down are things that make your hair feel really awesome the first time you use them and then build up the next time and actually destroy your hair from the outside in. With out feeling the texture of your hair I couldn't recomend a specific shampoo to you, but I will tell you to buy it in salon. I like Redken shampoos and conditioners myself. My recomondation is to go to your salon and get your hair cut or atleast washed and blowdryed so your stylist can feel you hair type. Then ask her what specials they are running (salons are ALWAYS running specials on shampoos and conditioners) and then ask her which one would be best for your hair type.Does it REALLY matter what shampoo/conditioner you use?
I dont think so. It doesn't matter the brand on my hair
Well, partly it does matter because of the quality of the conditioner/shampoo, like a shampoo from a drug store as opposed to being sold in a salon.
I personally like the tigi bedhead line of products.
It does matter especially if you color your hair or have dry brittle hair.Genetically thin,or even if you are stressed.A uncommon fact is everything you put into your body deposits on the hair shaft in approx.10 hours.Which includes meds. This is the reason salons sell clarifying shampoos.Which can also help eliminate minerals from hard water.
I personally color. My hair needs help.I use a USP{UNITED STATES PHARMICUTICAL GRADE} standard which is microscopically a smaller monocular structure so it enterers the hair shaft instead of laying on it.If you shampoo and have colored hair, deep condition. Its different than creme rinse..No cosmetic fluff.Use cool water to rinse to close the hair shaft.
If you want to look at many reviews heres a site to look at.
Personally I use Kennneth Jabote hair products USP grade.
i think it does. i used to use garnier fruitis but it didn't make my hair soft so i switched to tigi bed head and my hair is really soft and silky now
yes, it does.
I use Sunsilk de-frizz, it smells amazing, and it makes my hair shiny! I recommend it.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for my hair? And, any other styling products you like (pic included)?
My hair is long (a little longer than mid back), straight, semi thick, has long layers with some that are face framing and is virgin (never been chemically treated). I have to wash my hair daily, or else it becomes oily. Here is a picture so you can get an idea of what my hair looks like...the picture is a little old, but my hair looks the same except that it is longer:

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.
First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)
Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)
Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a ';little'; honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)
Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short
Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!
The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower
You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences ';clean happy'; conditioner.
When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years
You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

Best shampoo and conditioner for color treated red hair?
i recently dyed my hair red and don't want it to fade... so what's the best conditioner and shampoo for red hair? :)Best shampoo and conditioner for color treated red hair?
John Freda for red hair, I dye mine all the time and it works the best on my red. But it also depends on the type of dye you used in the first place the more expensive, the less it should fadeBest shampoo and conditioner for color treated red hair?
if its a really strong dye it should hold most of it but a lot of times red dye will fade. idk why and its really annoying! the best thing yu can do is prolong it for as long as possible! =] Pantene has some good color treated stuff i think..either that or it was Herbal Essences. or at the hair places, were ever yu go there r all sorts of different shampoos for all sorts of different needs. ask a hair specialist, they will know just what yu need =]
Use Tresemme the one specially made for coloured hair. or loreal elvive colour protect. i think cause i saw an advert on that and its designed for coloured hair and makes it very radiant.
Check out the loreal website.
for red hair use satinique. and heres another thing, it suxs but to keep your hair red u MUST wash with COLD WATER ONLY. red makes it fade away. satinique also restores color and keeps it in longer.
Pureology. It's a lot more expensive, but it's the absolute best. It's all organic and color safe, so it's really healthy for your hair. You can get it at a lot of salons. I looove this stuff. =)
Their isn't much you can do about Red hair color. It'll always fade...You can take precausions, But it will always fade some...Just to tell you...But Wella is a good brand.
John Freida for red hair or Pantene Expressions for red hair
Aveda for red hair!!! Its great. And also, you should wash your hair in cold water, not frezzing but not hot. Hot water will make it fade alot faster :)
pantene red expressions
fructis garneir color shield
treseme
jw dose it look real?? if it dose i'm a little mad. but i'd go with vive pro.
there is a pantene sorry I think I spell it wrong :)

Do you know of any kind of shampoo and conditioner that makes you hair grow faster?
Mane and Tail.
They use to use it only on horses.
Now you can buy it in stores.Do you know of any kind of shampoo and conditioner that makes you hair grow faster?
Well for one try using Horse Shampoo and conditioner. I use it all the time and it makes your hair grow faster. You can find it at walmart in the pet section. also you should drink plenty of water to condition your hair and when shampooing and conditioning you should use cold or luke warm water on your hair so it won't damage it. Even hot water hurts your hair.
Btw if your looking for a cute everyday hairstyle to try out go here this tutorial is awesome. ;D

What is the best shampoo and conditioner to use for...?
to use for frizzy, poofy, curly hair and protects it from heat damage? What is the best shampoo and conditioner to use for...?
First you need is get a good shampoo and conditioner for Frizzy hair. A few are ( John freida Frizz-ease, Nexxus, redken all soft, Pantene Moisture Renewal, Joico moisture, Pantene Frizz control Paul Michel Frizz Care.) Also Use a leave in conditioner to help moisturize and to Treat and prevent Frizz.
If you use any kind of heat on your hair ( Blow dryers, straightener ect.) You should use a heat protect serum to moisturize and protect your hair form getting more dry and damaged and frizzy. I recommend John Freida Frizz-Ease Thermal Protection Serum.( This serum will help alot with frizz.) All this will help out your hair.
You should also do a deep deep conditioning treatment to help replenish total moisture and to completely repair you hair to banish Frizz. These deep conditioning treatments are easy to find and very! effective. You can even make your own at home with olive oil.
Also you could try....

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for wavy hair most brands seem to relax my waves?
I am currently studying at Paul Mitchell The School and I am on the product rep team. I know quite a bit about hair products and have some advice. Most people just go to the store and pick up the cheapest product. If you want a product that really works. Go professional. I did my own test over the past few years and have tried probably a hundred different store bought lines and a couple professional lines. I am going to Paul Mitchell because I honestly found it to be far far better than any other shampoos or conditioners. Go to a local salon and buy the pro stuff. It may be expensive but it works! They are guaranteed so if you don't like it, take it back. Try TIGI or Paul Mitchell. But Don't buy the fake stuff from the grocery store. It may look the same, but it is not! I promise. If your set on the cheap stuff go ahead and try Aussie one girl said she uses. It's an ok brand, I've tried it. But avoid John Frieda cause it tend to have an off balance pH and damages your hair. And the Head and Shoulders stuff is probably the worst kind out there! It creates a dependency and dries your scalp out worse than before you used it. Aside from the shamp/cond try using curl enhancing products, like gels, blow dryer diffusers, and hairsprays. If you have any other questions, you can email me anytime.

can you parlay having relaxed waves into a reason to go on living ?
I have wavy/curly long hair. I use Aussie Dual Personality (Root Cleanser + Tip Mender). It rinses clean from my roots (which is what weighs hair down) and helps hydrate my dry ends. It's not just the shampoo/conditioner that you need though. I have a curl spray that helps to keep my curls bouncy and light, also.
john frieda shampoos and cond.
You need to find a good volumizing shampoo, try head and sholders, yes its a dandruf shampoo however its got all the igreadents to add alot of volum to your hair.

If nioxin is nt availble cn anybdy sugst a gud shampoo and conditioner for preventing hairfall and breakage?
VO5 is really good, so is Herbal Essence and Finesse. Also, hair falling out can be prevented sometimes if you don't comb tour hair right after washing it. Combing it right away can make hair fall out faster... You should wait a little bit until it is damp, not wet. But I'd say Nioxin is still the best because it prevents hair loss really well.If nioxin is nt availble cn anybdy sugst a gud shampoo and conditioner for preventing hairfall and breakage?

Burts Bees is an excellent line of bath products and cosmetics. They all smell really good. More high end you might want to try Aveda or Origins. You can also just go to any New Age/Health Food store and they usually have a pretty good selection. If you write/e-mail PETA they can send you a brochure with a list of products. Congratulations on being animal-friendly! Keep it up!What makes of shampoo and conditioner are there that do not test on animals?
Hi,
