I have hair that goes just past my shoulder blades and can't find a good shampoo and conditioner for it. I really want to make it soft, smooth and silky. Can anyone reccomend some good brands/products for me? Thanks.

There are some great tips about repairing damaged hair. You'll find a bunch of recipes for conditioners and moisturizing treatments too.
I hope this helps!
Have a great day! :)Shampoo and Conditioner for my hair?
you have the same hair as i do and i recomend Pantene. It definetly gives you softness, smoothness, and silkyness. For a little extra shine try going old school and use honey and manayse. it reallyy bring the shine on.
everyone always says that my hair is really soft...
i use pantene shampoo, dove conditioner, and after my hair is dry i rub in about a coin-sized amount of this glossing polish made by
proc!aim, it has aloe and natural oils in it and moisturizes hair and makes it shiny and soft and eliminates frizz. and it smells really really good.
my hair was dry and krink until i used aussie moist conditioner
i use head n shoulder shampoo(dis dont really moisture hair)
then my fave aussie moist conditioner(this really moisturizes hair my hairis now soft and silky cause of it)
then i use special effect silk drops hair serum to make it shiney and less frizzy
also the key to good hair is to comb and brush(not to hard)from root to tip
i would use mane n tail. okay it's horse shampoo but it works so good. it makes your hair softer, smoother, and shiner

I have really dry hair and need to know the best shampoo and conditioner that will make my hair really soft? Thanks!!Whats the best shampoo and conditioner for dry hair??

i just tried sunsilk and its really good!!!
redken all soft
Paul Mitchell shampoo's in the moisure colection.(it works great i use it)
I use Matrix smooth and sleek (orange bottle). it's fairly pricey... but its definetly worth it. I used panteen and Infusium for years, but Matrix makes a huge difference in the texture and condition of my hair.
Growing up, my hair was so damaged that it would not even lather in the shower. I went to a solon and they suggested that I use Biologe. It completely turned my hair around. You can only buy the real thing in the salons so dont be fooled if you see some in the stores. Its about $20.00 for the set and they have styling products also. It smells fantastic and clean. It is the best I have ever used!
Shampoo, I'm not really sure. However, I use cholesterol conditioner on my hair. I believe it's by Lustrasilk, but any kind will do. It comes in a jar.
my hair is extremely dry as well..
i use two different products and alternate..
#1 Garnier Fructis Sleek %26amp; Shine (also get the leave- in conditioner, it works wonders!)
#2 Herbal Essences Hello Hydration is great (leaves hair soft and smelling like coconut!)
any other questions, feel free to e-mail me about this, I know how it is to have uncool hair lol..

If price is not a concern, then you should look at salon products, as they are usually of a better quality. Matrix works well, but there are several salon brands out there.
If you're looking for something cheaper and easy to find in any store, Pantene works pretty well for me. I use the 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner as my shampoo (red words on a white bottle,) and then the mosturizing conditioner (for curly hair) on top of that, after I shampoo. I find that there's a -drastic- difference in my hair when using this compared to any other cheap brands. It's the only grocery store quality product that I really like and that doesn't totally destroy my hair.
It can also be helpful if you can try not to wash your hair every day, because that saps the moisture out of it. If you can get by with it, try to wash it only a few times a week. And try to avoid blowdrying and brushing too much.
Here's a page that lists several salon quality hair care products. http://www.hairexpo.biz/
u need a normalizing shampoo biolage makes one what it does it get the hair in a normal condition and keeps it that way.
Oh my gosh, this question AGAIN....Try using

Whats a good shampoo and conditioner?
I use Dove for both shampoo and conditioner is that good or is there anything else i should use because it makes my hair feel weighted downWhats a good shampoo and conditioner?
i like biolage..it is gentle and really moisturizing for my dry hairWhats a good shampoo and conditioner?
It's difficult to pinpoint one good shampoo as everyone has different hair textures. You have to put a small amount of shampoo on your palm and suds it up between your hands before spreading it all over your scalp, making sure your hair is thoroughly wet to the roots as shampoo is hard to wash off dry hair. If you need more suds, add more water, not shampoo. Applying shampoo directly to your scalp will weigh your hair down. Rinse out your hair thoroughly with warm water.
What I do is to buy a better range of shampoos e.g. Redken/Schwarzkopf/John Freida and alternate with the cheaper range if budget is your concern. Pantene has also come out with a good range and I have tried some of them although I never bought Dove before. You will probably need to try out more brands to find one that suits your hair. Buy small bottles for trials.
Good luck!
Look for products without sodium laureth sulphate in as this product is in most shampoos and is bad for your hair and health.
I always get my shampoo's etc in the health food shop and look for the bunny symbol so that I know it's not tested on animals. I always by the most natural product.
Ask your stylist to recommend something for YOUR hair.
I use Sunsilk for frizzy hair and it does wonders (it's the green one). Otherwise Sunsilk also has products, in both shampooo and conditioner, for poofy hair, colored hair, heat damaged, a volumizing, and a hydrating double- shampoo and conditioner. If your hair is in need of any of those, I would highly recommend it. Good luck searching!!
Well i used to use Dove but you know how it is .. girls need to try new shampoo's and conditioners, it really helps our hair out...I love this shampoo..it's called Organix .. Vanilla Silk .. it works so well and you can get it anywhere, Acme, drugstores .. it costs about the same as Dove .. but it really settles the hair and hydrates it .. and it really does feel silky .. i suggest you try it out .. they have other kinds too
'MOP - C System' completely organic, you will love it it is all natural and it just brings your hair to life.
I love the complete sunsilk line. I use anti flat, the green anti frizz one and hydra tlc. For something a little higher end I like the frederic fekkai line. expensive but very worth it. It instantly detangles and smells great!
i love Redkin All Soft!
and if you can find this stuff called vavoom it was wonderful but i have a hard time finding it

I want to buy some good Shampoo and Conditioner for my hair from drug store ONLY, NOT from Salon.?
What do you guys recommand? Which Shampoo and Conditioner should I use? Everyone should Name Shampoo and Conditioner please. And also tell me Why do you recommand me that Shampoo and Conditioner?I want to buy some good Shampoo and Conditioner for my hair from drug store ONLY, NOT from Salon.?
Drug Store shampoo? All the big brand names are really good like Herbel Essence or Garinier Fructise or Aussie or Pantene Pro-V. Read the labels because they are all unique in what they provide you so just pick whichever one has the elements you want and smells the best to you.I want to buy some good Shampoo and Conditioner for my hair from drug store ONLY, NOT from Salon.?
I use redken, which is awesome. I get it from a salon, but you might be able to get it at the drug store. I've also used garnier frutice (howevr u spell it.) which is good too. They both have tons of variety.
Pantene
I never had any problems with their products. I don't remember the specifics but I was happy. I still use their products but am currently using KeraCare because I wanted to try their products.
Okay I have a real good shampoo %26amp; conditioner that my mom has been using for ages and her hair is awesome, its called Flex and it's by Revlon. They sell it at drug stores and it's dirt cheap compared to the $8 shampoos you find out their which end up messing up your hair anyway, I've used it and it really is okay --- so try it out and if you don't like it you'll only be down about $3 bucks.
TiGi's Bed Head products sell at most drug stores, Target, Wal-Mart. They're not extremely expensive ($10-15) but are worth the splurge. If you're looking for something more in a $5-10 range, try Garnier Frutis.
are you crazy
herbal essences. they have certain shampoo and conditoner for certain hair types. i have some and it works great.
i got it from walgreens
i like tresseme. *not sure how to spell it tho* i use it all the time, it makes my hair soft and shiny and its not expensive and best of all you can buy it at wal-mart or target or anywhere.... they have all kinds of stuff that you need... dry hair damaged hair colored hair....it works really good
try herbal essences it works so good and it makes your hair stay smelling good
Um... It would help to know what kind of hair you have: Colored, curly, fine, thick, dry......
There are different kinds of shampoo to use based on what kind of hair you have.
Like I use Paul Mitchell for my very curly hair cause it helps prevent frizz.
It just depends.......different hair needs different care.
Everyone is saying to use Herbal Essences.. but it doesn't work for everyone. I don't use it because it makes my hair very dry and frizzy.
Do you have someone who cuts your hair? Ask them. They would know what kind of hair you have and which would e a good product to use.
Tresemme.
I've been using it for a long time now and LOVE It.
Its under $10.00 for both the shampoo and conditioner.
Its even salon formula, but they sell it at drugstores :]

What type of shampoo and conditioner suitable for damaged and dry hair?
try these tips...... they relle work!!
Hair Wash
The best way of washing hair is with Aritha and Shikakai Powder. It does not have any chemicals or any other side effects. Aritha and Shikakai powder is available at any General stores or even a banyan shop.
Shampoos
Dry Hair - Egg, Herbal shampoo or any shampoo for dry hair.
Normal Hair - For normal hair fruit shampoos or henna shampoo is good.
Oily Hair - Lemon Shampoo
Hair Oil
Oil your hair at least once in a week. If you have dry hair then oil it twice a week. Hair oil gives the necessary moisturizers to your hair. Herbal hair oil provides you the necessary nourishment along with the moisturizers.
Hair Conditioners
Henna
Henna conditions and colours your hair.
Dry hair - Add some milk, water and 1-2egg yolks in henna. This mixture will not dry your hair and will make it soft and manageable. Apply it monthly.
Normal to Oily Hair 鈥?Add water, lemon, egg yolks in henna. You can apply Henna fortnightly.
Home made conditioners
Add 录 cup of vinegar in 陆 bucket of water. This will give a good shine to your hair. Mix curds and egg yolks together and apply it for 1hour.
Hair Tonics
Try tonic Hair Oil鈥檚 powder - Put 4 tsp of this powder in water, boil it and after cooling down apply it on hair. This will stop hair loss, rejuvenate and nourish your hair. What type of shampoo and conditioner suitable for damaged and dry hair?
ok, it works for me so try it.
its normal brand, Loreal ELSEVE , smooth-intense conditioner.
n i haf been using it for years. What type of shampoo and conditioner suitable for damaged and dry hair?
try pantene pro v renewal packs and treatment satchets. also try hot oil for really damaged hair once a week, pantene pro v has some of that too. and to keep it nurished and silky, try pantene pro v silk serum. thats all you need also keep out of the sun and avoid elements.
Try Pantene. It's pretty good stuff.
Try Dove shampoo and conditioner.
They have several types. Just find the one designed for dry / damaged hair. They work great!
I have tried the Palmolive hair repair shampoo and it really makes your hair soft and reduces damage
the Pantene Moisture Renewal range
Try to find a good mild shampoo (To wash away dirt and to prevent dryness. or just skip until the hair is fully recovered dryness) and an intensive conditioner* (It is design to penetrate from root to tip to treat hair strands best.
i dig the garnier fructis sleek something or other products because they have silicone which makes hair smooth.
I don't think any shampoo or conditioner can help damage hair although there are many shampoo %26amp; conditioner state that they can do the job. You may consider doing at home hotoil treatment couple times a wk. Stay away from hairdye, less hairdry may help and trims every 4-6 wks can cut off some of the damage hair as well... I've also read that eating fish can help produce healthy hair as well...hope this help.great makeup

When should I switch shampoo/conditioner, how long, how frequent?
People say you should always switch shampoos, don't stick to one...
then they say, you shouldn't switch is bad for your scalp......or don't switch too frequently
when should one switch shampoo/conditioner....
is 2 weeks okay or is that too frequent, how about a month.. is that okay....
It's so confusing....thanks..
btw, I'm going to go back and forth with two brands, not by new brands...thank youWhen should I switch shampoo/conditioner, how long, how frequent?
You don't have to switch products if they are still working for you. The idea is that your hair adjusts or becomes ';immune'; a product %26amp; you need to change. That's false. The problem is that you can get product build-up over time so it seems like you shampoo %26amp; conditioner aren't working. To prevent this, I use a clarifying shampoo 1/week. My favorite is Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo. When should I switch shampoo/conditioner, how long, how frequent?
every two weeks should be fine(you switch so one wont stop working as well)
lol,dont believe the hype!!!!
i have and use many different products of shampoo and conditioners.i dont like the same one every single day.each day sumthin new ,each day new compliments on shiny or helalthy looking hair, girls grabing hanfulls and smelling my hair saying things like''never seen hair like this for real, only on t.v''lol
I heard that you should switch like every 2-4 months. And ya switching every two weeks is bad. just go with one brand till your out then use the other brande. Hope this helps.
its not horrible if you don't switch, it dosn't hurt you in anyway. just after time the longer you have used the same shampoo the less effective it is. it is best to switch about every month but you don't have to, i do because i like the change in smell.

Is it okay for me to use a different brand of conditioner with a different shampoo?
Hi,
I want to try a biosilk shampoo and a bedhead conditioner since they both do different things but would that damage or ruin my hair at all or does it not really matter? Also if you have tried these brands can you tell me if they are good please?
Thanks! :DIs it okay for me to use a different brand of conditioner with a different shampoo?
Hello,
ok there is definitely no problem doing that
i do it all the time and my hair is totally fine.
cause sometimes my conditioner runs out faster than the shampoo
so i just use a different brand of conditioner that i had.
i don't recommend it cause it wont give the best of results
but there's nothing wrong with it:)
the shampoo and conditioner i use is Gardiner!
it makes your hair shiny, silky, and super soft.
there is also a type of Gardiner that protects your hair from coloring.
they sell them at wal mart or any other store near you.
good luck and hope i helped:DIs it okay for me to use a different brand of conditioner with a different shampoo?
it dosent matter at all!
thay might not mix well and you could get oily hair, its usually ok though to use a different shampoo and condition but from the same brand
No, I don't think it would ruin your hair at all.....and i've never used biosilk sshampoobut i have used bed head and its a really good shampo. Hope I helped :P

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>What is your favorite shampoo/conditioner?
Tresemme moisture rich
because it make my hair really shiony and moist and suppper
shinny lol love it
I looooooove Hrbal Escences Envy. I have been looking for a very good shampoo for a lon long time and i finaly found it! It's great! For me! Every hair is diffrent it might not work for you. It took me about 12 years to find this peeerffeeect shampoo! It moisturizes your hair adn keeps it the way you want it to be!
Herbal Essences or Biologe.. However you spell it it's in the big white bottle that you get at salons.
When I choose my hair products I don't like to see a lot of mumbo-jumbo that I can't understand which is why I prefer shampoo and conditioners that are as close to ';organic'; as they can be. Right now, my favorite shampoo is the EO Nourishing Rose %26amp; Chamomile shampoo (smells fabulous!) and my favorite conditioner is Trader Joe's Nourish Spa Enriched With Organic Botanicals (the smell is wonderful!) it never fails in making my hair feel strong and silky!
Pureology Hydrate. It is only sold at salons, but it is all organic, smells great, makes hair feel great. you really only have to use a dime size amount of both shampoo, and conditioner. so it cost a little more, but one bottle whatever size last as long as 3 bottles of any other shampoo on the market so you actually save $ in the long run.
Umberto beverly hills. It smells so good, makes my hair soooo soft and bouncy. It also has great mosterizing and volume.

What is a good shampoo // conditioner to use for bleached / dyed hair?
i use loreal color vive. they have different types of shampoos and conditioners for different type of hair. like for normal color treated hair or dry/damaged color-treated hair. i use the one for dry and damaged. smells awesome and i think it works great. its hard to miss. they're in bright bottles and VIVE is huge on the bottle. good luck. What is a good shampoo // conditioner to use for bleached / dyed hair?
For me the best one that I have come across is Ziravie Shampoo. It is smooth enough so that it spreads evenly and it is fruit based which leaves the scalp well nourished. What is a good shampoo // conditioner to use for bleached / dyed hair?
i'm not sure what brands, but any thing that says it is okay to use with dyed hair. it will read on the front of the bottle, sometimes the back near the directions.
Got2b has a great line.great makeup

Is shampoo/conditioner bad if u get it from Wal-Mart?
I usually buy my shampoo/conditioner there but it never works for me. wut should i use and where should i buy them?Is shampoo/conditioner bad if u get it from Wal-Mart?
No, it's not ';bad'; if you buy it from Wal-Mart instead of a salon. There are some very good and fairly inexpensive drugstore brands. I've never been a huge fan of Suave, but VO5 works pretty well if you are looking for uber-cheap hair care. If you want to spend a few extra dollars, go for Pantene or Tresemme. They both work very well. However, my favorite drugstore brands are Got 2 B and Bedhead. Good luck and I hope you find something usable. Is shampoo/conditioner bad if u get it from Wal-Mart?
no no it good
No, there usually not salon products, but they work good. I use pantene shampoos and conditioners, and they work great. It depends on what hair type you have.
If your finding that none of them work, ask a salon on what type of shampoo/cond. you should use. Remember that the pricey stuff is not always the best. But if you don't mind spending a little extra money, try redkan.
Good luck!
No. It depends on what brand you use. Just switch your brand.
It's the same from every other store, but just cheaper
it still works wheni get mine from wal-mart.
i personally think it doesn`t matter where you buy it, just what brand you buy.
Wal-Mart does provide some top quality products, but maybe your hair is not compatible with what they stock. Try BodyWorks, they sell really good stuff that's natural and smells great too!
It doesn't matter where you buy it, it's the brand...
Not neccesarily, but it's always safer to buy hair products from a salon since it's possible that they could have been tampered with anywhere else.
yah what she said i will warn you though don't buy V05 it makes your scalp itchy and damages your hair.
Wal-Mart does have some good things. It depends on the brand. Try Tres-Eme[not sure if I spelled it right?] or Pantene.
Or else try a salon =]
shampoo and conditioner are all in the type not where you buy them Buy a good professional shampoo and conditioner at a beauty supply
Suave is really bad 4 ur hair! Get treseme(sp?) or Sunsilk. Conditioner sometimes makes ur hair oily so don't use very much if you do use it.
I would say go for Pantene Pro-V...unless you've already tried it. Head and shoulders works really well. I just found that out for myself last night. Sometimes you need to stop washing every other day, let your natural oils from scalp nourish your hair. Also helps it grow and avoid dry scalp.

Which shampoo/conditioner line works better?
I am just wondering which would be better for my hair, I currently am using Frederic Fekkai but I don't want to spend 50 dollars on my hair every time i need product considering it is only 8 oz....which would help my hair condition, im trying to avoid getting split ends so that my hair will grow...pantene beautiful lengths or herbal essences long term? or any other product...please help!Which shampoo/conditioner line works better?
That depends on your hair shape, what you want your hair to end up as. I personally love Got2Be. But Bed Head's great, Marc Anthony is also really good, and Head and Shoulders works great for me as well. Miller Harris' is also really good, if not a little expensive.

The only prevention for split ends is to keep your hair trimmed on a regular basis (4-6 weeks) There are lots of good products to keep your hair looking good. I would definitely suggest a visit to the local beauty supply for those products. Anything you can buy at a drug store or retail store usually has too much wax and heavy oils that weigh your hair down and cause more damage to your hair. Stick to the professional stuff!!
Okay the split end thing. . .you know is said to stop hair from growing is a myth. It was proved to me a few times by more then one person, it just makes hair harder to brush(but if that's what you meant then strike what I said=) I would say for shampoo and conditioner :Herbal essences,
I love Pantene and it is not expensive as designer hair products.

I wouldn't use Pantene, It's got Silicone Wax in it, which just coats your hair..It's awful for it...Tressemme is a really good 'Salon Quality' brand..You can get it a dollar store for like $2-$3
Not Pantene!! It causes too much build up on your hair. Its the wax in it that masks the split ends. I like Tres Emme. It doesn't leave build up and my hair feels soft.
Pantene it's cheap and good
Yes, Herbal Essences you should try.

What shampoo & conditioner makes your hair the softest? I usually use Pantene but want to switch.?
i love garnier fruitis...guess that is how you spell it
but pantene is awesome..!What shampoo %26amp; conditioner makes your hair the softest? I usually use Pantene but want to switch.?
Abba Moisture Sensation is awesome! I started using it when my stylist recommended it for my dry somewhat damaged hair. My hair is naturally wavy, so it sometimes looks more damaged then it really is. After maybe a month, I saw a HUGE difference. I have not stopped using it yet. It doesn't build up and I have never needed to switch. You can buy it at the beauty supply store or the salon. A little more expensive, but SO worth it!What shampoo %26amp; conditioner makes your hair the softest? I usually use Pantene but want to switch.?
My hair is curly and my Step-daughters is straight and we both use Herbal Essences. It leaves it sooooo soft. We both died our hair about 6 times last month (not kidding) and you wouldn't be able to tell at all (except that my hair isn't that curly anymore). I've heard you should switch your shampoo every 3 months which I do but my favorite is Herbal Essences. I use the pink bottle and she uses the yellow bottle, plust it leaves your hair smelling great!
Terra Semme
john frieda or tresemme are really good i use both
Biolage and other products sold in salons are great for your hair. Also, surprisingly enough, Suave is very good for your hair. Pantene is not good for your hair, although it may seem like it. Pantene is 85% wax. Which is why it makes hair shine, of course, because that's what wax does. It doesn't fully clean the hair. Suave and Biolage are two of the best.
I used to use Pantene, but then I switched to Herbal Essences. I love the way my hair feels now... and it smells really good too! =)
anything other than pantene!!!!!!!! is your hair fine, medium, or coarse? dry, frizzy? hard to recommend knowing nothing about your hair. your best and safest bet is to talk to your regular hairstylist, as they are the most knowledgable as to what is out there and have had experience with your hair.
Panteen Prov is the worst shampoo for you hair it has so much wax in it. It makes you hair dull. Try redken allsoft you may need a good clarifier to get the wax out of your hair.
I use Creme of Nature the one in the red and white bottle. Why? I use it because my hair gets very tangled after I wash it and so does my 6 years old daughter. I am very tender headed so any little thing can hurt my hair such as combs and brushes. With this shampoo it has a built in conditioner so as I am washing I am able to comb through my hair and it won't hurt. After I blow dry it is soft and silky with out being oily. For a conditioner I get a bowl and put one teaspoon of everything such as olive oil, mayo, one egg and I mix it all together like I'm baking a cake for my hair, I then sit under my house dyer for over three hours ( but you van use your blow dyer if you don't have one) I then wash it out with Creme of Nature and then I apply the Aloe Plant and this will automatically make it soft. Then I wash it and call a day. I hope that I have helped you.
Frutist. Or try Mayo (yes in your fridge) us it once a week. Great for dry hair.
Redkin All Soft Shampoo and the Conditioner. Redkin products much better for your hair than any store bought product.
UMMM USE....HERBAL ESSENCES Citrus Lift
ITS FREAKING AMAZING DUDE I LOVE IT AND GUYS Love Love Love the way its smells
I like Biolage. You can usually buy it at beauty shops.
I actually prefer the Pantene anymore but I also like to switch up my shampoo and conditioner every now and again. I tend towards the Catwalk ';Soul Food for the Hair';. It smells like oatmeal cookies. The conditioners a bit heavy so I don't like to use it for too long but it's a nice change.great makeup

I loooooove the hydra tlc (pink) the smell is amazing, so if you have any damage that one would be the best. The yellow bottle is really good too, it's to add bounce and volume to your hair if I remember correctly.

Does anyone know any thickening shampoo and conditioner?
ive tried ookisa and that didnt really do much, and the serum it came with to put on my scalp overnight burned so i stopped using it, i just want a thickening shampoo and conditionerDoes anyone know any thickening shampoo and conditioner?
paulDoes anyone know any thickening shampoo and conditioner?
Biolage by Matrix.
It's a bit pricey, but their products work really well. I know for a fact that my mom uses their thickening shampoo and conditioner (she has paper thin hair) and it makes her hair look really thick/full.
:)
A thickening shampoo is designed to blow up the cuticle the outer layer of the hair shaft.
There is not a shampoo on the market that will produce a follicle. That would be the only way to thicken your hair.
I love Paul Mitchell products!! They have a shampoo and conditioner for everything.
Use Thicker Fuller Hair Shampoo and Conditioner, it works great. They sell it at walgreens, target, rite aid, walmart, k mart etc. I bought mines at Rite Aid for $4.99 so not bad at all
I've had really good results with both Aussie Volume and Thicker Fuller Hair products both of which you can find at Osco.
Mane!

I've had really good results with both Aussie Volume and Thicker Fuller Hair products both of which you can find at Osco.

What is t he best shampoo and conditioner to use for frizziness and breakage?
Hi, i use hair products from Lush and ive never used a shampoo that is as good as, Rehab shampoo and retread conditioner, Ive tried everything for my hair and nothing works only these they are brilliant. There are also lots of other shampoos that may work for your hair, i love them and wont go back to using ordinary shampoos as they dont work, But if you cannot get hold of any lush products i recommend using Gliss products the two face laeve in conditioner is brilliant and doesnt leave a coating on your hair. What is t he best shampoo and conditioner to use for frizziness and breakage?

john freida is really good. the frizz control shampoo and comdition and the products that come wih it work very well. i would definatly try it out. hope it workds for u =)
I don't think shampoo matters as much, I've used $1.99 shampoo and I've used $15 shampoo and I can't tell the difference. Conditioner is what's important. Finesse is great, I have frizzy hair, but Finesse keeps it smooth and nice, AND it costs about $3 a bottle. I love it!
garnier fructis sleek and shine works great for me
oh Aussie, its great. for frizz, get the spray on conditioner that you can leave in your hair and it makes your hair so soft, and i use it to get my hair untangled when i take my towel off my head after a shower. its great for longer hair like mine. and it kills frizz.make up

i want to know what you think of it from personal experience, and if it really does do the things it claims to do. thank you very much :)Is the dove intense repair shampoo and conditioner any good?
I've used them and really like them. However, I have fine, limp hair and this gives them a great shine, but no body, so it isn't something I personally would use all the time.
The smell is great, too. Nice, but not TOO perfumey. Is the dove intense repair shampoo and conditioner any good?
The reparing miracle treatment is nice, very moisturizing. But honestly damaged hair cannot be fixed. Otherwise just get the miracle treatment and another mosturizing shampoo and conditioner like herbal essences hello hydration :]

What hair shampoo and conditioner is good for soft and curly hair?
i need a new shampoo cause my hair is totally damaged and its so thick i cant even tie it up! please give a nice shampoo\conditioner that is good for 11 year old girls my friends all have nice smooth hair and i have wavy hair that is ugly and buffy no one says i love your hair it upsets me help pleaseWhat hair shampoo and conditioner is good for soft and curly hair?
EggsWhat hair shampoo and conditioner is good for soft and curly hair?
You should use redken all soft its a little expensive but its very good they also have redken smoothe down which is for frizzy hair and keeps it smoothe and tones down the frizz, if you are looking for something a little cheaper then i suggest herbal essences range its has less detergant in it which dries the hair out and can cause frizzing. Also if you have split ends you need to cut them off because they can split all the way up to the hair shaft and break off.
hope i helped.
Damaged hair?our beautiful locks are not damaged by birth.Environment, sun, usage of power instruments on our mane usually causes split ends and rough hair.it is best to root out causing reason than to cry over split milk.if u drive a two wheeler never go out without your head covered with a cotton cloth.it matters little which shampoo you use.you can go for yellow ones.yellow halo, yellow sun-silk and all that.management matters a lot.preconditioning followed by post will really make your hair look soft and silky.first of all, apply half bowl jasmine hair oil(coconut) and massage on the scalp for 5-10 minutes.after half an hour take a bowl full of sandalwood powder.mix 2 small spoons of honey and also mix yogurt.then apply on full hair and keep it for another 20 minutes.after that wash hair till water runs clear.then apply sun-silk yellow shampoo followed by same conditioner.after your hair are washed.dry it with towel and then apply little amount of levon conditioner.post conditioner should never be applied in large quantity.then after your hair are completely dried.u can use a straightener with a ceramic plate.just give a one touch.do not use it critically or thoroughly.do this twice or thrice a week.results will be in front of you within 2 weeks.it is my personal experience.
fructis (or however you spell it) works for me

Can i use a different brand of shampoo and a different brand of conditioner?
Will it work just fine? Im trying to make my hairstyle stay more smooth and straight, thats why im using conditionerCan i use a different brand of shampoo and a different brand of conditioner?
yesCan i use a different brand of shampoo and a different brand of conditioner?
i guess so
All the companies say ';for best results'; use their brands. Not true, my daughter is a hairdresser, and uses whatever she likes in her hair. It sure wont cause any problems. I'm the same way, I may love one shampoo, but hate their conditioner. Just use what works best for your hair!
ya u can change it.
Yes, you can definately use a different brand of shampoo and a different brand of conditioner. However, for best results it is always good to stay within the same brand shampoo %26amp; conditioner whenever possible. This is because most manufacturers formulate their products to work in conjunction with one another for optimal results. If you are looking for a brand (or conditioner) that makes the hair smooth %26amp; straight, try PANTENE SMOOTH %26amp; SLEEK. You can try their 2-in-1 shampoo plus conditioner in this brand. Good luck!! :)
Yes, I think that the thing you need to consider is if the two different kinds of smells don't go together. you wouldn't want to have a tropical smelling shampoo and a chemical smelling conditioner, they just wouldn't go together.
It has worked in the past for me. Most people use the same brand for both, but sometimes people just want to use a shampoo they are familiar with BUT a conditioner that they know will have amazing effects on their hair. Only do it if the conditioner has some added ingredient or effect that will get your hair the way you want it. To be safe you could always use the shampoo and then the complimentary conditioner and then use the other conditioner for an added bonus. Good luck!
Yep, thats what I do all the time. You should go according to your hair's needs, not what a certain brand reccomends you use in conjunction with their own product.

Aveda Shampure Shampoo and Conditioner or Aveda Clove Shampoo and Conditioner?
Do you have any of these four products?
What do they do?
Do you like it/them?
Do you prefer clove or Shampure?
Also, I have normal textured brown hair but I don't really want to make it any more brown. (It's already three dark and lighter tones of brown naturally!)

Do you think Hawian ginger root is a good conditioner, as for my shampoo lemon complex?
The Hawian ginger root is supposed to make it silky feeling and soft, as for the lemon complex shampoo it's suppose to make it shiny. Do you think this is true or are all shampoo and conditioners the same, because that's what my step dad said the only difference is they have fancy bottles and that means they'll be more expensive, but personally I don't think that's true. Compare Garnier fructis with Suave there's a major difference in my opinion.Do you think Hawian ginger root is a good conditioner, as for my shampoo lemon complex?
Did you know this question was in Beer, Wine %26amp; Spirits?
Yes they are different, but not different to justify the selections or prices! Ginger %26amp; lemon are good together but you question is hard to understand. Are you making your own shampoo?

Is there a damage shampoo and conditioner that really works???????????
I really need one and want one. I WILL CHOOSE BEST ANSWER!Is there a damage shampoo and conditioner that really works???????????
GARNIER FRUCTIS MOISTURE WORKS SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER. i LOVE it! i makes my hair soooo soft %26amp; it's for dry, damaged hair. it's great ! good luck!
:)Is there a damage shampoo and conditioner that really works???????????
hahaha
No product will completely get rid of all damage in your hair. Only getting it cut will. But I use Dove's Damage Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner and i did notice a difference. I straighten/curl my hair just about everyday so it was in pretty bad condition. i think you can buy it at any drugstore or target for about $6 for their bigger bottles..
Good Luck !:)
Herbal Essences ';Hydralicious'; shampoo %26amp; conditioner worked for my heat damaged, dry, and prickly hair. It made it softer, smoother, and shinier. You could also try the Tresemme damage control products.
Hope I could help.

Which shampoo and conditioner smells nicer?
Victoria Secret Love Spell or or Bath and Body Sweet Pea. which smell will stay longer?? Please I dont care about any other shampoos I am just concerned with these two. If you havw used them please respond.. Thanks!!!Which shampoo and conditioner smells nicer?
Sweet Pea all the way. plus, there's no animal products in them.Which shampoo and conditioner smells nicer?
DEFINITELY Sweet Pea! It's my number one choice always. Love Spell is okay..but Sweet Pea has a longer-lasting smell and it's just more pleasant.
i'm not sure about which will last longer, but i prefer the sweet pea smell over the love spell. the love spell smells too candy-like.
sweet pea!
Bath and Body Sweet Pea is amazing...it's my favorite smell from Bath %26amp; Body, and I use it everyday. It keeps my hair silky and smooth, and fresh all the time. Before Sweet Pea, I used Garnier Fructis shampoos, and they are amazing also, they smell like fruit and flowers, it's amazing, but I switched to Sweet Pea during spring/summer so less bugs would be attracted to me! =P Good luck! And, I definitely say Sweet Pea. =]

My puppy has dry and flaky skin. Please does anyone know of any good shampoo and conditioner??
I have tried many shampoos and conditioners carried in the large chain pet stores in my area and even spoken to my vet but it seems like none of them really work. Please does anyone know of any good shampoo and conditioner?? I am considering ones by PetSilk or Royal Treatment which I know Royal Treatment is carried at Target in my area...does anyone recommend these products? My puppy has dry and flaky skin. Please does anyone know of any good shampoo and conditioner??
Here are some absolute things to consider...and trust me I have had lots of experience in this area.
First, stop bathing the dog so much. The bathing is drying out the dogs skin. You aren't giving the dogs coat time to become oily and soft.
Second, if you must bathe, use an oatmeal or tea tree oil based shampoo. They are high in moisturizers.
Third, add a little oil to the dogs food. Sunflower or flaxseed oil are great. It is much more effective to add it to the food then directly on the skin.
Final and most important, if this is an on going issue, check the food that you are feeding. Most dog foods are not a high enough quality to have the good oils that your dog needs to maintain healthy skin. Feeding vet foods or commercial ';popular'; brands like Iams, Science Diet, Purina, Eukanuba, etc are not helping because they contain numerous low grade fillers. I have worked with products like Innova, Wellness and Canidae and I can gaurantee that the majority of our customers saw immediate improvement to their pets skin and coat after using one bag, the rest saw improvements over time.
If these things do not work then there has got to be something much more wrong with your dog like a skin infection or something and you should visit the vet.My puppy has dry and flaky skin. Please does anyone know of any good shampoo and conditioner??
my dog has this problem too, we use an oatmeal moisturizing shampoo and my vet suggested giving her ';WET'; dog food from the can and a tablespoon of bacon grease 2 times a week...... I thought it was strange too, but has seemed to work for us. (my dog is 6 years old, don't know if that makes a difference or not)
stop giving so many bath that is what's doing it the shampoos are not that good i have a short hair dog and he did the same thing we keep giving baths and talk to the vet he said to stop give like 1 bath ever week or so
Vitamin E oil is what i use
Put a little cooking oil in his food
Call any vet, you will get the best answer.
try putting a SMALL amount of corn oil on her food. (1/2 teaspoon)
Over a couple of weeks, this should help. An occasional egg yolk (not the whole egg, just the raw yolk) will help, too
This may seem a little strange but you should try Johnson's Baby Shampoo. My vet reccomended it for my puppy and it worked. And it's soft and gentle on the puppy's skin.
try rubbing cod liver oil on where its flaky, then if the puppy does lick it off it won't hurt him/her, if it does lick at it it'll give him/her a shiny coat and be very beneficial to him/her. obviously dont put it around the eye area.
ps i used it on my german sheperd puppies, they had a beautiful coat afterwards
Try something with an oatmeal moisturizer

definitely herbal essences
defintely the S factor. I've been using it for months now, and even still I cant put my finger on what exactly the smell is. Sometimes it smells like fruit punch, sometimes bubblegum, or something else! Either way, it smells extremely yummy!
yeah herbal essence is really good.
Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship Shampoo and Conditioner smell wonderful! They have a raspberry scent with and contain silk protein. They also make a leave-in conditioner in this same line that is the bomb-diggity.
herbal essence all the way

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for dry scalp and frizzy hair?
loads of answers already about the frizzy hair so i will help on the rest...
the first thing you need to check is your diet. The fact that you have dry ahir and scalp means that something is lacking. you may need to check your diet, take multi -vits ( dont bother with expensive things advertised especially for hair they arent worth it) ... without question you need to up your water in take.
for a good cheap shampoo for dry scalp Boots do their own version. dont make the mistake of using anti - dandruff as this is not what you have and could actually make the problem worse.
Also when you condition your hair you need to make sure that you towel dry your hair BEFORE applying the conditioner and massage your scalp to increase the circulation and also rub some of the conditioning agents into your skin.
whne you hair and skin are that dry they become very absorbant, so if you dont remove some of that water first there is no space for the conditioner to go in.
you would benefit from a professional treatment to give the actual hair a bit of a kick start but you have to remember that the hair that is already there is dead so any work on it is purely cosmetic. focus your attention on maing sure that the new hair that grows is in better condition.
It can also be worth getting checked up at the GP as dry hair and scalp can sometime indicate thyroid issues or a vitamin deficiency, ( often strict vegetarians have this problem).
Lastly, just remember that you are never going to alter the actual type of your hair, it will never end up soft and silky, but you should be able to get it looking healthy and shinny and more manageable.
Hope that helps a littleWhat is the best shampoo and conditioner for dry scalp and frizzy hair?
K Pak hair recononstructor is wonderful, but very expensive! I also use Garneir Long and Strong. Even if your hair is not long, it really helps keep it healthy and keeps the frizz down. After washing, I use frizz ease hair serum. Works like a charm. What is the best shampoo and conditioner for dry scalp and frizzy hair?
try the frizz ease shampoo and conditioner but i use pantene shampoo and conditioners and i absolutely love it! it smells great, feels great, and of course, it looks great! Try it for a while to see if it works for you! it helps with split ends and split ends is usually what causes frizziness.

Do hair products like Shampoo and Conditioner expire?
If you have shampoo /cond unopened for a while, like a few months - does it expire?Do hair products like Shampoo and Conditioner expire?
Sure it can...
I once found Shampoo in a salon I knew was discontinued 10 years ago that smelled like sour milk...Why the salon was still selling it I don't know.
Most Manufacturers put their products through a process called stabilization that determines what causes breakdowns (or expiring of the shampoo).
So while shampoo and conditioner don't necessarily Expire, they do over time (depending on where it is stored... IE... in the sun, or if it's been frozen) break down and can lose effectiveness.
Typically you can tell when this happens, Manufacturers call for a package redesign, utilized to liquidate old stock , and bring to market new batches of fresher product.
Or in my example it was smelly and discolored.
So if you are using old packaging of a product it may have brokendown ( or Expired).
Hope that helps...
In your case of '; a few months'; I tend to dought it...Do hair products like Shampoo and Conditioner expire?
I think no
no expiration date. (unless there's one on the bottle) that stuff is good for a life time.
~A few months is fine, but after years, they do expire. They get thick, sticky and stinky.~
No, I don't think so, not unless maybe you have it for years, but I am thinking most people don't last more than a month so it;s fine.
lol no silley
it wont expire if it hasnt been opened for a few months, but once you open it it is more likely to expire, although it takes a very long time. it depends on the brand youre using, but you can usually see a discoloration and change in texture when it starts to expire. but its not bad for you or dangerous or anything when it starts to expire, its just that the chemicals used to make it start to break down. hair products, like hair sprays and gels, take a much longer time to expire than shampoo ad conditioner, which themselves take a long time to expire. most people use up their bottles way before they even have a chance to start breaking down.

Is using different shampoo and conditioner each night damage your scalp?
i luv using differnet kinds of shampoo and conditiner every night but does it damage my scalp? Is using different shampoo and conditioner each night damage your scalp?
I do it too, and I've never noticed any problems!! I think it's totally fine.Is using different shampoo and conditioner each night damage your scalp?
I change shampoo and conditioner alot not every night but every 3-4 days
It's not so much the different shampoos you use, but the frequency you wash your hair. That will damage your scalp and your hair. Use a gentle shampoo and conditioner, preferably one that has only natural products in it, and don't wash your hair so often.
washing your hair everyday does. it dryes up your scalp
No.
Washing your hair every night could dry out your scalp and hair, but any good hairstylist will tell you that it's a good idea to rotate out your shampoos so that you can prevent buildup.
No...I think if that was a risk there would be a warning label on the bottle.....I do it all the time!make up

So I have extremely curly, dry damaged hair. And I've tried just about everything under the sun. I've tried salon products, and I've tried numerous domestic products. I just can't seem to find that one perfect shampoo and conditioner for me. Everytime I go to a different hair stylist its always the same thing 'Oh you have such beautiful hair'. But I just don't see it. I would really love for my hair to be less frizzy and my curls to be more defined. Any suggestions! please.Shampoo and Conditioner for curly, dry damaged hair?
I have the same problem here but what i did
was use the Dove Damage Repair Shampoo which
is really working for me! Plus I use a deep conditioner
to really hydrate it. This is what i suggest you do:
%26gt;Brush your hair before getting in the shower
to avoid knots and tangles
%26gt;Get a wide-tooth comb for the shower or use
your fingers to gently run it through your hair
%26gt;Always wash with cold water; this closes the
uplifted ends in your hair
%26gt;Shampoo really good
%26gt;Put your normal conditioner in your hair
%26amp;I would suggest leaving it in for at least 3 min.
%26gt;Wash it out and put in a deep conditioner
You're suppose to use it once or twice a week
but i use it every time LOL
%26gt;Rinse with cool water
%26gt;Don't RUB your hair with the towel-your hair
is very delicate and fragile when wet
%26gt;Put in some Curl Shaping cream-I suggest using
Loreal Curl Shaping Cream(it works really good)
%26gt;Don't touch your hair when drying-it will cause it to frizz
And try not to use any heating appliances:)
Good Luck! [:Shampoo and Conditioner for curly, dry damaged hair?
HEY! I have curly long (below shoulders) hair and i use pantene.
I love it. U should try it. I also use pantene gel which i also like a lot. Another thing i use is a thing called ';Pure Shine Frizz Remedy'; Its a small bottle and the product inside it is clear. Well i like putting this stuff in after i wash my hair(while its wet). try it. maybe it'll work for u.
But everyone has different hair so maybe its not going to work for u but i really hope it will!=)))make up

What Shampoo/Conditioner should I use?
I
1) am a guy
2) use hair straightener for my bangs once every week
3) have frizzy, dry, Asian hair
4) want straight hair
What is the BEST shampoo and conditioner I can get (from folica.com)?
The Matrix shampoo and conditioner to keep my straight hair? (since my straight after disappears the day after i use my straightener) Redken's shampoo and conditioner for men?
Or is there a shampoo/conditioner i can use everyday, and then another set of shampoo/conditioner i can use on a more irregular basis? need professional tips thanks! What Shampoo/Conditioner should I use?
Try Pureology Straight shampoo and conditioner, along with the straightening balm. They are an investment, but are very concentrated, so a little goes a long way. The straightener is so good that I don't have to use a flat iron when I use the balm, I just put it in and blowdry with a brush. What Shampoo/Conditioner should I use?
go to walmart i use sunsilk straighten up (purple bottle) every day
and then infusium leave in conditioner once every two weeks
i have straight, soft, shiney hair and i just follow these simple steps
use ';head and shoulders';
it works well

Does mane 'n tail shampoo/conditioner make hair grow faster without making it thicker?
i heard mane 'n tail shampoo makes hair grow faster--- although, i also heard it increases the thickness of hair.
i just want my hair to grow longer, i don't want to make it thicker.
have u used this product and does it make ur hair thicker?
thanks! Does mane 'n tail shampoo/conditioner make hair grow faster without making it thicker?
mane and tail has a wax as an ingredient, which increases the hair shaft making it thicker. it also can buildup on the hair over time, making the hair dry and dull. when using this product, it is recommended to use a clarifying shampoo once a week.

Herbal essences dangerously straight shampoo & conditioner?
i have naturally curly hair but i blow dry and straighten it. 3 hours later it becomes frizzy an my hair develops kinks. Will the shampoo %26amp; conditioner tame the frizziness and make my hair stay straight for longer??
thanks

You need extra products like smoothing serums to keep the frizz away.
It helps a little i have shoulder length wavy hair sometimes it looks cute like that but sometimes I wear it straight. It helps a little to use that shampoo but after you blow dry it straighten it! Hope this helps!!!
the shampoo doesnt help much without more products and lots of styling. finish with a smoothing gel afterwards. the shampoo helps somewhat.

Which would you say was a good shampoo & conditioner?
i have naturaly wavy hair, and wondered which would be the best shampoo for my type of hair Thanks everyoneWhich would you say was a good shampoo %26amp; conditioner?
Infusium hair products are great and smell really good!Which would you say was a good shampoo %26amp; conditioner?
I'm reminded of those old commercials:
';Use Head %26amp; Shoulders! I use it!';
';But you don't have dandruff!';
';That's right!';
Now spend two minutes in the penalty box for asking a non-hockey question in the Hockey section. Or however long it takes for your hair to dry, whichever is longer.
In my opinion, I had great results with the following: (I too have naturally wavy hair)
Shampoo:
Aveda Shampure Shampoo (smells so good too)
Pureology Hydrate Shampoo
Joico Triage Hair Conditioning Shampoo
Conditioner:
Aveda Shampure Conditioner (leaves a really nice scent too)
Pureology Hydrate Conditioner
Joico Daily Conditioner
I also have wavy hair and I actually use mayonnaise. I know it sounds weird, but give it a try. It really adds shine and manageability.
please do not use MAYO!!! That is bad...eww...use the new line from Tresemme for curly/wavy hair...and get the Leave-In Treatment from Infusium called (FRIZZ)OLOGIE...it works really good with your hair it smells really good!
you might have more luck in a different section not Hockey?
Pantene Pro V is excellent, and goes a long way.
Scramble two egg whites and rub into your hair.
Rinse well with Molsons.
I think the Bed Head and Toni and Guy stuff is lovely.....you may want to change your category hun lol :o)
maybe head and shoulder

What is the best shampoo/conditioner for hair that has a strong odor?
Pantene Pro V Shampoo and conditioner. Most shampoo and conditioner have strong smells, but be warned blowdrying your hair makes the smell less strong. If you want a nice smell to your hair the easyist thing to do is spray some of your favorite purfume into your hair then lightly blow-dry to dry the purfume. The smell will last as long as you during the day!
You dont need to Only use salon products. Any product works well (allthough i advise not to buy dollar store shampoo!)What is the best shampoo/conditioner for hair that has a strong odor?
Try Selsun Blue. What is the best shampoo/conditioner for hair that has a strong odor?
KMS makes an excellent shampoo/conditioner. Use ONLY salon products on your hair.
Thank you for answering this question. Whenever I hug a girl or come near one I always notice that their smells like very good shampoo. What kinds of shampoo do this. I don't myself but I'm just supporting the question.
After a night out at the bar and you don't need to wash your hair (lets say it smells smokey) take a bounce dryer sheet and rub on your hair. It not only gets rid of the odor but it decreases fly aways too!make up

What shampoo/conditioner do you reccomend?
is there a shampoo and conditioner for color-treated hair that will give you more shine? thanks :)What shampoo/conditioner do you reccomend?
I use V05 conditioner - it's amazing.
I know you wanted shampoos or conditioners, but mousses are the way forward if you want shine and colour -
They make coloured hair really glisten and bright. John Freida does and awesome range, especially the blonde one, which has a purple tint to it. I know that sounds like an old woman, but it makes blonde hair more silvery, and therefore shinier and lighter. What shampoo/conditioner do you reccomend?
Halo shampoo and conditioner is great for adding shine. Its a professional brand, but very much worth the money. Just go to a hairdresser and ask them if they carry it.
pantene has a cool selection for color treated hair
they have ones for blondes brunnettes..black haired and red heads...it really works and it makes ur hair color stay in forever! and it makes it really shiney
aussie sun-touched shine :)
it works

**stanleyLadies--what conditioner and shampoo do you like the best and why?
Clairol.......... it smells good ...
lor'eal because your worth it
There is a product that makes hair soft, shiny and healthier then ever. Plus, it makes any shampoo work great. It's called Ojon restorative Hair Treatment. It does cost more then a drugstore brand but a small jar will last a really long time. The results of one application lasts me up to 3 months. And you only use a tiny bit at a time. It turned my hair from straw to silk. My husband thought I got a new hair style!
I do like John Frieda's Sheer Blonde line. It really brightens my natural highlights and makes my hair fresh and clean.
Do check out the Ojon. Go to www.ojon.com.
sunsilk,
they have tons of diffrent products for diffrent hair, and they all work great
i useually dont wear purume but after i uses that my boyfriend is always saying how good i smell.
I use Aussie Awessome volumizing shampoo
And Herbal Essences Pin Strait conditioner
Also I mix an egg with my shampoo it keeps it healthy and shiny and very bouncy
i have colored hair and the best i have ever found is herbal essence color me happy it smells the whole house when you use it also it makes my hair healthy i have damaged hair and it does a good job on my hair i would give it 1000000000 stars
At the moment I use Delva pH balance you get it from hair salons .It has really helped my hair you also get a free leave in conditioner I think it cost around $40 4 the lot also it last 4ever. I normally never use the same shampoo %26amp; conditioner 2 but I will get this 1 again. My hair was in terrible condition this has made it very strong shiney %26amp; healthy well worth it.
Lush solid shampoos and conditioners! And their hair treatments too. They may seem expensive initially, but the solid products last for absolutely ever.
I used to have to buy liquid shampoo and conditioner every couple of weeks but now I just get a 拢5 block of The Blonde shampoo and a similar block of Jungle conditioner and they just never seem to get smaller!
I like Biolage and Joico. People always think that Salon quality shampoos have to be expensive but these two aren't. If you get the set of liter sized bottles they are usually $25.00 for both and it lasts me like 8 months... that's forever!!! Totally worth the money.

sunsilk.. you can find one that fits your hair style
they have: shampoo for straight, curly, frizzy, flat, and poofy hair
pureology. you can pick it up at some salons and some targets have it. it is pricy ($25 just for the shampoo) but it is by far the best. it is 100% vegan (no animals products or by-products) and does wonders. its the only thing i use!

What shampoo/conditioner should I use?
i had to highlight/blonde in my hair twice in one day b/c the salon messed up and 4 months later I dyed it back to brown and my hair is really hard to brush when I get out of the shower, cant find a good shampoo/cond. to use and detangler makes it feel greasy!?What shampoo/conditioner should I use?
The same thing happened to me and this is what i did.
Komenuka Bijin Hair Shampoo drop some of Moroccan oil in it and wash.
You will see the difference right away.
http://www.komenuka-bijin.com/index-hair鈥?/a> You can find it in alot of stores here in the U.S, the same thing for the Komenuka Bijin Hair Conditioner Treatment.
http://www.moroccanoil.com/haircare.htm the same, look for the store locater.
This will penetrate your hair, no greasy sensation at all.
just dry it like you normally do.
Good luck and I hope this will help. What shampoo/conditioner should I use?
You shouldn't brush hair when it's wet as that can cause damage. To minimize damage, gently use a wide tooth comb in the shower while conditioning, working in sections from the bottom up. I personally like Pantene. It's fairly inexpensive (often on sale) and they make several different formulas.
use treseme moisturize shampoo and conditioner. use john frieda's night creme serum. also, make sure to have your hair trimmed every two weeks. if you want a quick fix you can try V05's hot oil treatments, but don't do too many of them, it will only make it worse.
Biolage make a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner that's to die for! Here's the link to it.

please do not buy anything from the drug store. get it from your salon. products that are sold in drugstores are cheaper cause they have chemically derived ingredients that can damage the hair in the long run. Products that are sold in the salon are made from more natural ingredients that is why they are more expensive. This is going on your head spend the dough!!!!!!
Dove. It keeps my hair soft, not greasy
I use FrizzEase, cos my hair is really frizzy. It helps if you chose a style, like Style Straight, cos i don't like my hair naturally, which is quite curly.

Johnson's Baby Shampoo or Loreal kids strawberry, I get dandruff if I change shampoos usually, but if I use kiddy ones they're fine.

Any of the Suave line have used them forever and I mean forever!I am 50 and my hair is thick and to my waist.Just love all the different scents they have too.It is the cheapest brand for the money but still works just as good or better than expensive brands.
Back to Basics. Lots of Variety to chose from and leaves the hair smelling superfresh and fruity! Yum.
shampoo: loreal and conditioner:the same but for colored hair.
Jinx_U said it best.....Biolage Cost a little more then most do, but I love it and they way my hair is so freaking hard to manage it was the best thing for it... I color a lot and do so much to it and it never frizzes and never does anything I do not want it to do, before I started using it I had such nappy looking hair.... seriously, so frizzy and nasty... but hey what you pay for is what it will give you in return. products in drug stores contain detergant... like the kind you wash your dishes with... if you ever call the number on the back of the bottle they will send you a list of ALL ingrediants and detergant....... is one of them.
Head and Shoulders combined shampoo and conditioner for regular hair. One of my mates uses Wash and Go, another, who has no hair just goes. har har..
tresemme shampoo and conditioner is the best it keeps your hair looking great and feels so soft
Design Line Olive Oil Shampoo and Conditioner by Regis. My hair is chemically treated so it's hard to find something to moisturize it enough. this shampoo and conditioner is fabulous! They also have a Conditioning masque that is great
I been using Pantene and the condtioner since I been in school, and that was 15 yrs ago and I still use it.
My favorite is Motions Herbal Salon because the shampoo is a detangler which works great cause my hair type is wavy and the conditioner makes your hair bone straight so it's easier to blow dry while wet.
Pantene is the GREATEST!
Dove b/c it gives my hair body and is not greasy.make up
Biolage - I know it's outrageously expensive, but the one time I splurged on it, I wasn't sorry. It really made my hair feel absolutely wonderful!Whta is your favourite shampoo and conditioner to use?
Shampoo: Aveda Shampure
Conditioner: Aveda Cherry Almond Bark
I prefer Pantene.
Frederick Fekkai is the best shampoo and conditioner money can buy!
Pantene
Anything by MATRIX and Dove
Pantene....nothing compares.
Garnier Frutis Long %26amp; Strong

please do not buy anything from the drug store. get it from your salon. products that are sold in drugstores are cheaper cause they have chemically derived ingredients that can damage the hair in the long run.

A question about this shampoo and conditioner?
And does anyone know a good heat tamer spray that i can buy at Walmart? I need some because I straighten my hair a lot. Thank u!:DA question about this shampoo and conditioner?
Any product u use is not going to give lasting effect until and unless u take a good healthy diet for shiny and strong hair. Believe me i have tried myself and my hair quality has really improved.Eat in good quantity
Salmon
Fish
Green veggies
Broccoli
nuts
Poultry food
Flaxseed
Work on these and u will get desired resultA question about this shampoo and conditioner?
I know for a fact that Mane and Tail shampoo will DEFIANTLY make your hair grow longer. It is made of out this stuff that your hir is made out of. Your hair will also be really shiny. It was originally intended for horses. You can buy it any where even at albertsons. Its awesome I love it. If the Herbal Essences stuff makes your hair stronger then it will probably also give you healthy hair and make it easier to grow out.
tresemme heat tamer spray
n no, the herbal escences stuff will not make your hair grow longer....it will strengthen your hair though so that you wont get split ends as easily and so you wont have to cut your hair. it pretty much just makes growing out hair easier.

I use that shampoo and conditioner too and it doesn't make your hair grow longer but does make it stronger. I don't use sprays but I like the Tressemee heat protecting gel. I am sure their spray works too.

Is it ok to skip the shampoo and just use conditioner?
i have fairly thing, curly, frizzy hair and have heard to skip the shampoo and just use conditioner. im wondering if this is ok and if my hair will get clean, even when i use product in my hair to controll my curls and frizz. Is it ok to skip the shampoo and just use conditioner?
totally i do somedays when my hair is feeling really dry.Is it ok to skip the shampoo and just use conditioner?
Whoever told you that has it backwards :]
Shampoo every day, and condition every other day. Conditioner takes out nutrients from your hair (Pulling out your hair's natural vitamins makes hair softer), and if you use conditioner every day, your hair becomes dry and frizzy.
you hair should always be cleaned with shampoo.conditioner really covers the smell remember just because you can't smell it does't mean that no one else will.conditioner also clogs the dirt and after a few days your hair will fill super dry and greasy.
ummmmi don't do this but i think it'll be fine if you want to. i mean its your hair you can do whatever wth it. but if i were you i'd get hair cream and spray because the shampoo is what cleans your hair out the most
yeah i do that sometimes, lol as long as you don't do it every day it should be fine
