Which shampoo/conditioner line works better?

I am just wondering which would be better for my hair, I currently am using Frederic Fekkai but I don't want to spend 50 dollars on my hair every time i need product considering it is only 8 oz....which would help my hair condition, im trying to avoid getting split ends so that my hair will grow...pantene beautiful lengths or herbal essences long term? or any other product...please help!Which shampoo/conditioner line works better?
That depends on your hair shape, what you want your hair to end up as. I personally love Got2Be. But Bed Head's great, Marc Anthony is also really good, and Head and Shoulders works great for me as well. Miller Harris' is also really good, if not a little expensive.

The only prevention for split ends is to keep your hair trimmed on a regular basis (4-6 weeks) There are lots of good products to keep your hair looking good. I would definitely suggest a visit to the local beauty supply for those products. Anything you can buy at a drug store or retail store usually has too much wax and heavy oils that weigh your hair down and cause more damage to your hair. Stick to the professional stuff!!
Okay the split end thing. . .you know is said to stop hair from growing is a myth. It was proved to me a few times by more then one person, it just makes hair harder to brush(but if that's what you meant then strike what I said=) I would say for shampoo and conditioner :Herbal essences,
I love Pantene and it is not expensive as designer hair products.

I wouldn't use Pantene, It's got Silicone Wax in it, which just coats your hair..It's awful for it...Tressemme is a really good 'Salon Quality' brand..You can get it a dollar store for like $2-$3
Not Pantene!! It causes too much build up on your hair. Its the wax in it that masks the split ends. I like Tres Emme. It doesn't leave build up and my hair feels soft.
