The ';Naturals'; is false advertising...the shampoos are too cheap to be any good (contains too many harsh ingredients), but the conditioners work fineAre Suave Naturals Shampoo and Conditioner a good bargain?
They may be a good bargain but their results are just average.

Should i wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner everyday or everytime i shower?
It depends on your type of hair. Mine is really dry so I always wait at least a day between shampoos (I still shower - just don't shampoo my hair on the inbetween days). If your hair tends to be oily or get greasy, I'd shampoo everyday but condition maybe only once a week.Should i wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner everyday or everytime i shower?
The more you wash your hair the more you will need to wash as your hair starts to produce more oil to replace what you have stripped off. Also, the more you brush or handle your scalp the more oil it will be stimulated to produce.
If you have long hair you should train it to go two to three days between washes if you can. Think of what you can do with all of those hours you would spend drying and styling it after washing.
If you have short hair and it is easy and quick to dry and style then it is really up to you if you want to wash it daily. Should i wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner everyday or everytime i shower?
Ehh.
I feel gross if I don't use shampoo every time I shower.
so i only use a very small amount %26amp; rinse it out immediately. then i use conditioner.
It doesn't damage my delicate hair, you should try it.
Shampoo your hair every other time you shower,
but condition every time.
It makes your hair soooooo soft.
ummm... k well do u mean u dont shower evryday???
anyway... umm dont wash ur hair everyday this strips ur hair of ur natural oils
unless u have oily hair... :)
or like play sports and sweat a lot
If you wash your hair everyday, its strips the natural oils from it.
So try to wash it every other day
I dont think it would be the best idea to wash your hair everyday. Try every 2 days or so. Best of luck!
yaa...how else would u wash your hair if u werent in the shower?? stupid

Is it okay to use Paul Mitchell shampoo but Nexus conditioner?
Of course. Whatever works for you just works. The bottles typically only say that you have to use the whole system line just because they want your money or don't want anyone blaming them for no results.
Should you stick to the same shampoo and conditioner or should you change every now and then?
change occasionally. Or wash with conditioner.Should you stick to the same shampoo and conditioner or should you change every now and then?
My hair stylist said you shouldn't change it too often, but make sure you use a shampoo and conditioner that suits your hair type, eg. if you have fine flat hair use a volumizing shampoo and if you've recently colored your hair you could use an extra moisturizing conditioner.Should you stick to the same shampoo and conditioner or should you change every now and then?
you need to change once in awhile

If You Were Blind, How Would U Know The Difference Between Shampoo & Conditioner?
im partially sighted and usually some makes have different shaped bottles for shampoo and conditioner....ie shampoo bottles are upright and conditioner are upsidedown.
Good luck in finding some,xIf You Were Blind, How Would U Know The Difference Between Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner?
Quite a few brands use different shaped bottle for the two different products. For example Pantene: The shampoo lid is at the top and the conitioner lid is at the bottom of each bottle. If You Were Blind, How Would U Know The Difference Between Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner?
Actually, many conditioners come in bottles that are made upside down, whereas the shampoos are made right side up. So, you'd be able to tell
example:
http://www.styleitless.com/wp-content/up鈥?/a>
My Mum is blind. We just pass her the shampoo and conditioner before she gets in the shower, and she remembers which is which from where she puts it.
The feel of it, conditioner is thinner than shampoo.
shampoo is more runny feelin than conditioner
Little things like putting a rubber band on the Shampoo bottle.
if i was blind that would be the lesser of my worries
i'd buy a shampoo and conditioner combo to play it safe...
conditioners all greasy
I wouldn't, someone would tell which is which. :)
You get a 2in1 bottle then bobs your uncle!!
i guess the smell.
lmao. good question.
I suppose you'd have to have your helper always keep them in the same spot.
You could tell by the feel of it.
shaoe %26amp; texture :D
i guess you wouldn't....
lol, brail maybe!

Who loves pantene shampoo and conditioner?
i just got out of the shower and i used pantene, it smells soooo gooooodddWho loves pantene shampoo and conditioner?
I like it :] the first time i used it, everyone noticedWho loves pantene shampoo and conditioner?
It is good stuff. They don't allow their formula to be used by any other company, so those generic brands that imitate the look of the Pantene bottles are not the real thing.
The long-hair formula is the only one I didn't like: it made my hair feel stiff and greasy.
it just smells good...shampoo is so strong it will destroy ur hair...u knw stronger the smell more harmul it is...coz it has more chemicals...
have u ever noticed that herbal shampoos have light smell thats because they have less chemicals....
avoid pantene or ne other strong odor shampoos nd conditioner..
I loooove Pantene! I use Pro-V. It's been a tremendous help in moisturizing my hair after I nearly killed it from straightening too much. =]
i still use voseme i love it you can smell it for ages

Why is it that conditioner makes hair smooth and shampoo doesn't really do anything?
I was in the shower not to long ago and the question popped up. What is it that conditioner has in it to make hair so smooth? Why is it that conditioner makes hair smooth and shampoo doesn't really do anything?
cus shampoo cleans your hair..
its basic use is just to remove oil and grease from your hair..
if its too harsh, it can dry your head and make your hair all static.
thats why theres conditioner to make it smooth and soft.
in a way, conditioner is adding back some oils into your hair..
just good smelling, rather than the unshowered bad head smell.
lawl. Why is it that conditioner makes hair smooth and shampoo doesn't really do anything?
shampoo's supposed to clean your hair and conditioner's supposed to make it feel silky.

Why are shampoo caps always on top and conditioner caps always on bottom?
So for a little over a year now, I've noticed that the caps/openings for shampoo bottles are always on top, so that when you put the bottle down, the place without the cap is always face down. I also noticed that for conditioner bottles, it's the opposite. The cap is always facing down. I've been trying to see even one instance when this isn't true, but I haven't found one yet. Why do they make it like this? Why are shampoo caps always on top and conditioner caps always on bottom?
It's not always like this. Yes, some are, but many aren't, and I have many shampoos and conditioners in my bathroom that disprove your statements.
My guess is that conditioner is thicker, so by turning the bottle upside down, so to speak, it will make it easier to get the conditioner out when you begin to run low. Whereas, shampoo is more ';runnier'; and easier to come out of the bottle. Why are shampoo caps always on top and conditioner caps always on bottom?
........ This is silly....... BUT
Shampoo is more... liquidy, and conditioner is thicker. So its easier to get the thick conditioner out of the bottle if you stand it on its lid. However shampoo is more runny and doesnt need this.
The conditioner cap is always on the bottom because conditioner is really thick and if the conditioner cap was on the top, it would take a long time to get out.
It's so people who wear glasses/contacts can easily identify the bottles without having to rely on vision while they don't have any aid.
For visual aid, and because each product has a different thickness.
To aid those who are visually impaired who rely on touch to determine things
only if the carpet matches the pubes
i never knew that NORF NORF HAHAHAHAH NORF NORF
who cares? So you can tell the difference?
they're not, some are, not all. Some Herbal Essences ones aren't.
why does it matter?

Can i use a chemical shampoo with a natutral conditioner and oils?
i want to use baby shampoo. use castor oil mix with cocunut oil on my scalp. i want to also use eggs as a conditioner does this sound good. Can i use a chemical shampoo with a natutral conditioner and oils?
No sounds like you will have to re-wash your hair after that concoction. Just buy Cream of Nature Shampoo and Conditioner.or Dr. Miracles Shampoo and ConditionerCan i use a chemical shampoo with a natutral conditioner and oils?
Why are you using a baby shampoo on your hair? Use something for adults like Doo Gro shampoo and conditioner. They have products with carrot oil and mayonaise in them.

What shampoo/conditioner for dark hair?
This is a question for people with THICK DARK HAIR.
What shampoo/conditioner do you think has worked for you best that you would reccomend and which have been the worst if any.
thank you for all answersWhat shampoo/conditioner for dark hair?
Hi there I am a young woman with long thick dark hair and I have to tell you that TreSemme is the best shampoo/conditioner that I have ever used! I hope it works for you aswell! XWhat shampoo/conditioner for dark hair?
I suggest using Biolage. Their hair line is pretty awesome, very professional (always used in hair salons) so I definitely recommend it!
hi, i have really thick dark hair, i always use VO5 shampoo the one that makes your hair silky smooth, then i use sunsilk conditioner for brunette hair, it has an extract of chestnut in it and it gives you hair lots of natural tones. It works a treat! make sure you leave the conditioner on for about 5 - 10 minutes your hair will be really soft and shiny - and more managable!
tea, is very good if you put it in your hair.
Oh no, you stole my face! AHHHHH! No really, I always use Dove, it works just fine.
Tresemme is blinding on my dark, dyed, frizzy hair....leaves it soft and shiny;o]
You can get shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in's and plenty of styling products too that help manage your hair...
Elvive is also a good product (pink bottle)...have both in my bathroom, and both leave my hair soft and manageable!
Happy New Year..........X

Women, what kind of shampoo & conditioner do you use?
Pantene Pro-VWomen, what kind of shampoo %26amp; conditioner do you use?
diffrent kinds so my hair doesn't get used to one of them and try to take controllWomen, what kind of shampoo %26amp; conditioner do you use?
I use Tresemme and sometimes Pantene Pro-V.
Herbal ones, sometimes Freemans.
Paul Mitchell's super strong, strengthens hair by 50%, ( I color alot) Also Redkin products,In in the business
It depends on the time of year. Tresemme tends to make your hair very dry and frizzy. If your hair is oily this would work well. Don't use in winter. Pantene is good in winter or if hair is dry. Pantene leaves a coating on your hair. That's why hair looks shiny. It is good to change shampoo from time to time.
I use Tresamme
Garnier Fructisse
I have naturally curly hair that I straighten alot and it kills my hair! So my stylist suggested I use Sleek Matrix. Its expensive ($16.99 a bottle) but I LOVE IT! My hair is so much softer and I cant get this effect w/other products
Finesse or Fructisse
Currently in my shower I have Bain De Terre Kiwi Shampoo, and Lavender Conditioner, Tosca Luxury Shampoo, and Lifetex by Wella Pumped Up conditioner. But sometimes I switch to Nexxus Therape Shampoo, and Nexxus Humectress Conditioner. All, fairly expernsive, but what the hell, I get it at cost.
I use Loreal Elvive for dry/damaged hair its really good makes your hair nice an soft too!
Tresseme
Matrix
its is the best in the world :)
i use either dove for normal/dry hair, or sunsilk
Colorsmart from JC Penney Salon
Generic from Sally Beauty Supply
Dove Shampoo and Conditioner from Target
Pantene is good but I like Herbal Essences Too!!! If you like fruit try Garnier Fructis!
Herbal Essences for Normal Hair.
I alternate... Aveda Brilliant Shampoo and Conditioner or Bonacure Color Seal Shampoo and Conditioner
Garnier Fructese... yummy smell.
Right now I'm using John Freida for Curly hair. I used Pantene for curls, and my hair looked great, but after a month or so Pantene leaves such a build up that my hair was awful looking and so dried out.
I think the best approach is to switch it up every couple of bottles or so, any brand has the potential to leave build-up and lose its effectiveness after awhile.
dove the best ever made
Right after I color my hair, I use Pantene Color Expressions. Once that bottle is gone, I switch to Thermasilk for colored hair.
Bumble and Bumble Gentle Shampoo and Super Rich Conditoner. It's a bit pricey but totally worth the money, your hair will look and feel so amazing!

Which shampoo&conditioner do you think i should use for my wavy/curly hair?
hi, i have loose curls/waves and i'm trying to find shampoos/conditioners that would be good and would shape my curls because sometimes they get frizzy. and something that would make my hair shiny (but not greasy)
oh i only want brands that i could find in a drugstore, like walgreens
thanks!Which shampoo%26amp;conditioner do you think i should use for my wavy/curly hair?
I just bought Lorel Vive Pro (the one with the pearl complex its in a pink bottle). I used it for the first time today and seemed to work really well. At first i was going to let my hair air dry but i didn't feel like waiting so i blew it dry. It made my hair really light and curly and not frizzy (i did use some product though like mousse , leave in conditioner, and a shine spray).Which shampoo%26amp;conditioner do you think i should use for my wavy/curly hair?
try herbal essences no frizz shampoo. i haven't tried the conditioner, i'm still using garnier fructis curly hair conditioner. but, i noticed my hair looks soooo much better after using the herbal essences...good luck!
Hydraterma Naturals all the way! Go to HealthyHairJourney.com The site goes into amazing detail! Don't think it's just for black people, it great for caucasians too!

Can i use a 3 in 1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash for school (pe swimming)?
so were doing swimming in pe for the next 5 weeks. and the pool is SUPER gross and filled with a ton of chlorine so is a 3 in 1 thing gonna work to help get the chlorine off of me? (we only have 15 min to shower/change so i sorta wanted a all in 1 kinda thing to make it faster)
THANKSSSS(:Can i use a 3 in 1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash for school (pe swimming)?
Yeah, thats a good idea. it might not be as good as having separate bottles for shampoo and conditioner, but it will help get the chlorine off without taking up almost all your time. Can i use a 3 in 1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash for school (pe swimming)?

Would it be bad for my hair to have two different brand/smelling conditioner/shampoo's?
No, I do it all the time. It gives more of an interesting smell rather than, coconut or citrus. In the past whenever I've mixed smells it usually smelled better than just one alone.Would it be bad for my hair to have two different brand/smelling conditioner/shampoo's?
No its not bad at all I do it all the time!Would it be bad for my hair to have two different brand/smelling conditioner/shampoo's?
Not at all.
I don't think that using 2 different brands of shampoo/conditioner will have any affect regarding the health of your hair.
It is actually better to alternate the products that you use to wash your hair so that you don't have product build up.
Nah. The one that prevails is the last one you use, the conditioner.
no, I did it one time and my hair smelt really good.
It is not bad at all if they are different kind or different smelling. They work BETTER if you have a set of shampoo and conditioner that are the same.
ummmmmmmm no
no the shampoo washes out and has no effect on ur hair except it cleans it and makes it smell after you use the conditioner that is all u will smell

What's a better shampoo/conditioner for me?
i can't decide on either tresemme smooth and silky or the thermal recovery one. i use a lot of heat in my hair (usually blow drying and straightening) but i've heard that the thermal recovery one totally drys your hair out. i also have fly aways in my hair but my hair's already kinda smooth and silky. so...which one? What's a better shampoo/conditioner for me?
I would buy Tresemme smooth and silky if you have heard bad reviews of the other one. Or try Thermashine by Sunsilk. I've heard that it's great for protecting hair from heat and makes your hair shiny when you add heat!
Hope this helps :]What's a better shampoo/conditioner for me?
I use Thermal Recovery and it doesn't dry my hair out.
If you're afraid it will, use the product, and buy a conditioning treatment. L'Oreal Vive Pro makes nice ones, or Pantene Pro-V Nourishing Conditioning Mask works wonders.
Also, since you use a lot of heat, I would recommend a heat protectant. The Tresemme one is nice. And if you have bad split ends from it, try Redken Anti-Snap. Works wonderfully!
if you use any heat on your hair you should use some sort of heat protector, but what you can do is use the smooth and silky shampoo for your fly aways and then use a thermal protector like TIGI flat iron spray for heat protection you can cocktail many product to achieve what you want for your hair.
Honestly i think you should spend the money and buy a shampoo/conditionr....i used to buy all those brands and they did nothing for my hair. try the paul mitchell moisture, it really works. Since i used it i had less breakage and smoother than b4

I have thick, course, curly hair and I get it colored every 10-12 weeks.I am going crazy trying too find a shampoo%26amp;conditioner! I have tried all kinds and find I don't like them and there they sit.Salon shampoos are a little pricey but if you have a brand and swear by it I'll give it a try.Need help choosing a shampoo%26amp;conditioner?
back in the day (lol) I used to perm and color my hair and I always used Nexxus Humectress. It kept my curls soft w/out making them droopy and my hair never got that straw look you can get with over processed curly hair.
It's worth a try and it smells great.Need help choosing a shampoo%26amp;conditioner?
I use Matrix Biolage shampoo and conditioner and LOVE it! They have it for color care too. It's a little pricey, but i totally think it's worth it!
oh my gosh....me too i use pantene color protectant. it works for thick colored hair! it works great for me!!!
dove advanced color care reall works it moisturizes and restores you hair and its only like 3 dollars it really works =]
I know salon products can be pricey but the truth is if you want your hair to look and feel good then you have to buy the good stuff. You may want to try a leave in conditioner . rusk makes a good one called smoother. Try it you wont be sorry. As for a shampoo and conditioner try the calm shampoo and conditioner by rusk its good for your hair.
Pantene pro-v has shampoos%26amp;conditioners for different hair types and the one I use for my hair type works reeeeaaally well. Hope it helps. (if that doesn't work you might want to use L'oreal Vive. It depends, that might work better for your hair)
Sunsilk in the purple bottle.. i swear it is so good, I use it all the time and also have hair like yours. Also try the 24/7 Creme in the purple bottle also, give it a try you will not regret it.
I like the nexxus retexxture pomade Its great for corse, curly hair. It makes it look like spun silk, Here is a link to read up on it
also nexxus assure shampoo, it adds incredible shine
I would use ausi (sorry dont know how to spell it) it will make your hair feel awsome! I use it all the time and i dye my hair way more then you do my hair grows sooo fast
bio silk. It is a salon shampoo that is not too expensive. Its about 20 for both shampoo and conditioner. It will leave your hair very soft yet your hair wont flop. Plus it smells better than any shampoo I have ever smelt. They also have some frizzy balm, which I also use to straighten my hair when its wet or dry.
cheap one
try to buy shampoo for color treated hair and/or curly hair. pantene and herbal essences have a good line. so does loreal paris for color treated hair. head and shoulders works great for making your hair really soft and shiny.
I like Aussie-(The purple bottles) they have all different shampoos and I'm sure there's one for you. It's an excellant brand that works wonders for your hair and it's not expensive at all!!
I have the same exact hair type as yours.
I use Mane n' Tail.
It's a horse shampoo, but it works incredible
for human hair.
It cost's around 10 dollars.
You can find it wherever they sell hair products.
speak to your colorist. if you afford the dye job, you can certainly afford to treat your hair with a good product. ask about Pureology.
garnier fructis sleek and shine
i love this shampoo!!
i also have thick curly, dyed medium brown hair. and i use this shampoo becuz it eliminates frizz in your hair really well.
i straighten my hair all the time, but when i got this shampoo i wear it naturally curly alot becuz my hair doesnt look like a frizz ball.make up

Does the hair growing shampoo/conditioner really work?
i got a new haircut and style, but i HATE it and want it to grow back!!
but does it work???Does the hair growing shampoo/conditioner really work?
the same thing happened to me, the stylist cut my hair waaay too short and thin and i immediately wanted my old hair back. so i tried this shampoo and conditioner set and it actually helped boost my hairs length. it took around a month or longer to grow it much longer. the shampoo and conditioner are from herbal essences

no, ive tried it...its probably not the answer you wanted but im afraid you will just have to wait for it to grow back...you could try and tie it up in different styles and see what looks nice...look at some hair tutorials on youtube because you can get LOADS of ideas...

Is Mane 'n Tail Shampoo & Conditioner good for human hair?
I'd like to have soft smooth volumeized hair, and people said this shampoo/conditioner is great. But it's amde for horses? Is it stiIkeykey? Is Mane 'n Tail Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner good for human hair?
Rather than say it is good for your hair, let's just say it's not going to hurt you. Won't do any good, but won't hurt.
It's a synthetic detergent shampoo. It removes grease and dirt from hair. What more do you want?? But it is not going to do any of those things you want for your hair -- it is just a cleaner.
For styling effects you need other products and some skill in how you do your hair. Nothing is a miracle cure-all for every ailment. Sometimes you need to work at it.Is Mane 'n Tail Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner good for human hair?
I used to use it all the time. Women use it to make their hair grow faster. i have used it before after a bad hair cut and it worked like a champ!
i didnt personally care for it for my hair. i didnt feel like it conditioned enough. my sis loved it though.

What is the best Shampoo/Conditioner?
What would be the best shampoo/conditioner for heat damaged/curly/dry hair?
Also, what do you think is the best brand of shampoo/conditioner? :| and the worst? :oWhat is the best Shampoo/Conditioner?
I have heat-damaged/semi-curly/fine/super-dry hair and scalp which is a pain in the butt to keep nice.
About three months ago, I tried the Body Shop's shampoos (I use their olive oil shampoo and honey conditioner). All I can say is wow. My hair is soooo soft and manageable. At first, the conditioner felt a little thin (it feels like a lotion and not a cream, unlike a lot of conditioners), but it REALLY works. I also use their moose and straightening balm, and I've given up on hair spray because the stuff works so well (which is also nice, since your hair then doesn't get all sticky from the spray).
The other cool thing about their products is the fragrance. Except for the olive oil stuff (which has a really nice floral fragrance), the fragrances are really nice and natural (as in, the honey conditioner smells like honey, banana, and the other stuff that's in the bottle).
Thus, I think the Body Shop has the best hair products. Although it's a bit of a splurge, they occasionally put the stuff on sale (like right after Christmas). As for the worst, I'd have to say it's a tie between Herbal Essances and Garnier Fructise (or Head and Shoulders). While they smell nice, they really dried out my hair. Although it's been a while since I've tried Pantene, it added a lot of build up.What is the best Shampoo/Conditioner?
I always use Paul Mitchell. You can get just about anything by him from the hair salon.
But if you're looking for something cheaper, Panteen Pro V shampoo and conditioner are good. I've used the Aussie Hair Care stuff before and that doesn't work as good in my opinion.
But the best way to find these things out, is to get some samples of different shampoos and conditioners, that way you can make sure you get something that you really like and something that really works for you.
my mom is a hairstylist and has gone to many hair shows and used many different brands. we both have wavy/curly dry hair+scalp. and we found that for our hair paul mitchel doesn't work as well and bed head works very well. except, paul mitchel does have a shampoo called tea tree which does help dry scalp. also if you have a Sally's beauty supply they sell products very similar to paul mitchel and bed head. In addition, do NOT use pantene pro v it actually leave somewhat of a wax coating that's why your hair looks so shiny and glossy.
ok first get rid of the damaged dead hair i recommend a trim every month but if your hair dresser cuts more then a trim that means that your hair is really dead so it grows back faster and sleek stop all of the perms for a while and then get pantene prov its probably the best but if you want exremly a bit expensive good stuff i use bio silk.
The Best: Straight To Perfection Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner. It makes my hair very soft, and it doesn't really straighten it. My hair is damaged and it's soft now since I've been using that.
Worst: Ausi [sp?]
treseme is good for your hair, I use it and I love it.

Do you know of any chemical free shampoo & conditioner please?
there is no such thing as ';chemical'; free hair products.
ALL hair product contain detergents or they would not ';clean'; the hair.
sorry,Do you know of any chemical free shampoo %26amp; conditioner please?
Jason Natural or Giovanni are both great. You can buy them at drugstore.com. Avoid dioxins, and parabens, like methlyparaben or ethlyparaben. Also visit Skin Deep at www.cosmeticsdatabase.com to see exactly what is in all of your beauty products and how safe each ingredient is. Report Abuse
Do you know of any chemical free shampoo %26amp; conditioner please?
Hi,
100% Chemical free shampoo still does not exist, percentage varies with each brand. What you need to look for is a PH balance and not off the supermarket shelfs. Check with your beautician.
As for me I use a chemical free hair lotion and then a fruit based shampoo which preserves the nutrient of the lotion, bought this product in Barcelona - spain at a natural health fair and now it is available on ebay.co.uk and the ID is hair-treatment
All shampoos/conditioners have chemicles in them. Do you mean SLS free and stuff like that? If so try Green People products, or visit SoOrganic.com. John Masters is another ';natural'; hair product. Suki do 100% pure shampoo and conditioner. Google them for places to buy. I'm currently using Green People's reconstructive and it's actually quite nice!
im not sre but pantene pro-v and garnier fructis r gr8 so is aussie, redken, and tresseme....they work rlly well......and if ur a brunette brilliant brunette is my fave shampoo ever! and conditioner!! they have diff ones for diff shades of brunette
hope i helped

sorry,Do you know of any chemical free shampoo %26amp; conditioner please?

What shampoo/conditioner would you recommend...?
What kind do you use??
What kind do you recommend for dyed hair??What shampoo/conditioner would you recommend...?
I have colored hair.
I use Pureology. The shampoo smells amazing and my hair is very soft and the color lasts longer.
Additional bonus is that it has less harsh chemicals, not animal tested, and is pretty gentle. It's amazing how soft my hair feels! What shampoo/conditioner would you recommend...?
I use Loreal color vive. It is awesome! It really brings out the color and it make it shiny.
The new Herbal Essances for colored hair. That stuff is amazing!
I use tresemme colorthrive shampoo. It is the only shampoo I have used that I have actually seen a difference in color retention and I have used all of them. So it is good if you have trouble with fading like I do. As for conditioner I use pantene Time Renewal. My hair has never been softer or shinier
Pantene hands down. For higher end brands, try Kerastase.
aussie is good
Any kind that isnt tested on animals. ;O)
i use pantine pro v
I recommend these two from L'occitane, it's really good but a little pricey:

What Shampoo & Conditioner should i use?
I have Brown hair. Medium length.
Its wavy but i straighten it everydayWhat Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner should i use?
First of all, straightening your hair everyday is baaad. You need to limit your hair straightening. The heat from the flat iron (or hair dryer, curling iron) fries your hair.
Use Dove Intense Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner
http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>
http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>
Also, use this spray to protect your hair when you style it with heat
http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>
In the meantime, why not consider scrunching your hair rather than straightening it so often? It can bring out great waves and makes hair look so pretty. Just use the right gel. Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Gel is fantastic.
http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>
I'm not saying to give up straightening all together, just do it less. Good luck! What Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner should i use?
If you straighten it everyday, you'll need an extra-moisturizing conditioner. I like Garnier fructise conditioner for dry hair, but there are a lot of good ones. You could also use leave-in conditioner like Infusium. After straightening, use a small amount of coconut oil to moisturize. Any shampoo that doesn't overdry your hair is good. Again, I like Garnier, but Pantene is good too. You don't have to buy expensive salon products.
I have the same, only I have colored my hair to black %26amp; don't straighten it everyday but only a few times.
I like and it works well Garnier Fructis they have a great selection of different types. I personally use Fortifying Strength %26amp; Repair. I think it's awesome, works great and it isn't that expensive at all. I usually can find it at my local grocery store 13 fl oz for 2 for $6.
Pantene pro-v smooth and sleek is a good shampoo and conditioner. If you don't want to straighten it (it damages your hair in the long run) then after you have washed it smooth on a straightening balm and then blow dry on a low heat. It works, and I have VERY curly hair!
I DONT REALLY KNO WHATS YOUR PROMBLEM BUT TRY DOO GROHAIR PRODUCTS U CAN FIND IT IN ANY HAIR STORE! IT MAKES YOUR HAIR THICKER,STRONGER,ANDLONGER.
You should use a good conditioner since you straighten it everyday. Use a good brand like paul mitchell or nexus.
Herbal Essences- Dangerously Straight.
It helps keep your hair straight and easy.

Shampoo & Conditioner that's good for making thick, wavy, & coarse hair silky smooth?
My hair is naturally thick, %26amp; coarse.
It also has a wave.
What shampoo will make my hair SILKY smooth %26amp; SOFT? [:Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner that's good for making thick, wavy, %26amp; coarse hair silky smooth?
If it is your natural hair then you may be stuck with it, but I recommend nexxus humectress and headdress shampoo and conditioner. You can buy it at your local beauty salon. That being said....
Any smoothing shampoo should do the trick though, It is also best to use a leave in conditioner for coarse hair.
When drying your hair, use a ionic ceramic blow dryer. It may seem like it will just dry out your hair more, but it wont.

i had the same but its doing my hair good its getting back to normal
I'm a red head.. but I love John Freida for colored hair.. I bet the product for blondes would work just as well.. Pantene Pro V is good too.. no need to spend all that money on salon products.
First of all, Don't beach or straiten it any more, use sonthing with lots of viatimins in it
MOP Glisten shampoo %26amp; conditioner.
Phyto their range is excellent also.
sephora carries both.
Tresemmme for damaged hair, affodable and works as good as a salon shampoo an conditioner (;
Tresemmme, john frieda, blonde, redken.
I can honestly recoomend the TIGI products - or at least the ones I use.
I use the Oatmeal and Honey shampoo and conditioner and they work an absolute treat. My hairs not coloured, but it is naturally very thick and very dry, not helped by the fact it starighten curls all the time! but these work on it very well indeed. I'm not saying they solve all my problems, but they definitely work a lot better than all the other cheap rubbish I used to buy. Believe me, I went through all the brands - Aussie, Pantene, L'Oreal, John Frieda, Fructis, tried the GHD ones as well (they're ok, but the bottle got annoying) but they leave a terrible build up in the hair and after 6 months of using them, my hair just went lank, but still thick. Yuck.
I did some research on ciao.co.uk and the Oatmeal and Honey stuff had good write ups so I thought I'd give it a shot and to be honest, I'm glad I did.
I'm a big believer in you get what you pay for, and if you pay a lot, then you can be mostly assured of at least a semi-decent product.
Plus, they do actually last ages. I used to have to buy the cheap stuff every 6 weeks or so, but TIGI...I;ve had it 6 weeks already and the shampoos only a third down, and it's even less for the conditioner. You only need to use a small amount each time you see, they work!
If you work this out over a long period of time, then it's not a lot more expensive that the cheap stuff anyway, is it?
I have tried the dumb blonde range and i can honestly say it didnt make much difference. I use herbal essences for dry hair and its amazing the difference it has made to my hair. my hair began falling out because of heavy bleaching and straightening so i bought a dark coloured dye and a straightening kit and my hair has been transformed!!! sea kelp is also good for helping hair.
toni and guy
they have a large variety to choose from and they're a well known name
if you can find it, pureology. otherwise keune and altrena are really good
Sounds so similar to my nieces problems, I bought her a vo5 hot oil treatment and then vo5 shampoo and conditioner for dry and damaged hair. She was extremely pleased with the results.
kerastase. the orange range is amazing for dry damaged hair
Hi i have asked around in Salons as well and they have recommended to me that mostly are all the same. I asked at the hairdressers what is GHD like and they said its good, but most shop brands are just as good. I was then using Aussie Miracle Moist and the hairdresser just recommended me to use miracle moist shampoo and condtioner and a hair masque every other day and infratreat heat protection spray.
I have done the same as you bleaching dyeing and using the hair straighteners, and my hair was snapping off but using this and pantene Ice shine has made my hair a lot better.
I have tried brand names and there not too good.
I say try the one you had your heart set on getting, and then you can make the desicion for your self. I think loads of people brag about using salon names to make them sound like they have lots of money to waste and then people will think they only have to have the best products.
But if you have never tried it then I would go ahead and try it this once, Let us know how it works for you

Whats the best shampoo/conditioner out thier for growing the hair?
i want my hair really long and strong any recomendations on what i should do and use?thank 20 points!!!!!!!!!Whats the best shampoo/conditioner out thier for growing the hair?
So right now I am actually using Mane %26amp; Tail and I can vouch that my hair has increased in growth rate. My hair is dyed so I can monitor my growth and the rate I can see my natural color coming out and it's been two weeks and I can see a lot of growth already. I have always been skeptical and decided to rob my horse of his shampoo and try it on myself! I think you will hear different opinions but it has so much protein and vitamins that it has increased my hairs rate of growth. Not like crazy or anything miraculous but I can tell for sure. I wish it smelled really good though like human shampoo that is the only thing it is lacking. It doesn't stink at all but I just like really scented shampoos. I would give it a try. Everybody's hair is different but what does it hurt it's like $5!Whats the best shampoo/conditioner out thier for growing the hair?
it doesnt matter no shampoo will increase the rate of your hair what you need is the right one to help with the ends and to help with your roots. Just go read a couple describtions on the shampoos and conditioners but the main thing is something thats good for your roots...!
I used to work at a drug store and a lot of long haired women picked up a product called mane and tail shampoo(originally for horses) it used to come in a yellow/white/blue bottle, apparently it is an old school solution hope it helps!
Mane %26amp; Tail is one I know of.
It's used on horses, but people also use it because it makes your hair really strong. You could get it at CVS or Wallgreens.

Is it safe to use mane and tail shampoo and conditioner everyday?
yes you should be fine, i use it all the time =]Is it safe to use mane and tail shampoo and conditioner everyday?
I used to use it (both the shampoo and conditioner) every shower (about every other day) and I have waist-length hair, and I had no problems with it.
It didn't dry my hair out, my hair didn't fall out, and I tend to leave shampoo in for a couple minutes and really lather with it. It kept my hair in excellent condition. I only stopped using it because I have a hard time finding it, but I would recommend it.Is it safe to use mane and tail shampoo and conditioner everyday?
Of course it is:)
I use it everyyyday, and have been for the last six months, and my hair is healthier and longer than ever. It makes my hair longer and gives it a lot of volume which is what I want! :) So it's fine to use both shampoo and conditioner everyday, I would know! And idk why some ppl are saying that's it's bad...I have neverrr lost hair, or shine, or anything because of using it.
Yes. I used it in high school all the time. It was all I ever used.
I never had any problems.. and I always got compliments on my hair.. and it was always so soft and shiny.
They say that you shouldn't wash your hair every day anyway. I was mine every other day. But Mane and Tail isn't heavy in chemicals like other shampoo.. so you should fine.. and like I said, it never damaged my hair.. I've had problems with washing my hair everyday with Herbal Essence.. but never with mane and tail : ) Do those horse manes looks okay to you? : )
No. Main and tail shampoo is designed for horses.
It would be better for you har if you got a shampoo for chemically treated hair and a conditioner.
I have been a licensed cosmetologist for 30 years.
Hope this helps.
I have to say I don't recommend it. It could strip your hair of its natural oils, causing split ends or worse. Ethnically if you are of Euro ancestry I would say you can get away with washing your hair every other day. Use conditioner often.
Well it's safe but not exactly healthy. When you shampoo and condition your hair every single day, you strip your hair of its natural oils that keep it shiny and healthy. Wash and condition every other day.
no,is not good to using every day becase maiking your hair dry.
mane and tail is awesome
I don't think you'll have problems
I use it on my horses and I use the Hair Strengthener on myself and am pleased with the results.
Unless it is a damage control shampoo, no.
The conditioner is okay though
well shampooing everyday kills your hair................ conditioner is good tho
Yes to the conditioner no to the shampoo it will make your hair fall out!
people say that you're supposed to let the natural oil in your hair let it do its thing, buts sure. its fine
Not if your hair is protein sensitive.
sure it is.
i think so. my friend does

Ladies!!!! What is your absolute favorite shampoo&conditioner?
I am losing a lot of hair in the shower and when I brush my hair, I don't know if it's bc of the product I use or something else. I take vitamins, eat healthy, drink plenty of water so my ';diet'; has nothing to do with why i'm losing hair.
Thanks!
So can you all tell me a good shampoo%26amp;conditioner?
Ladies!!!! What is your absolute favorite shampoo%26amp;conditioner?
my favorite is MATRIX which is a salon brand, but it works good!
my hair stylist told me that Pantene puts plastic in their products so that it makes hair shine, so dont use pantene and she said that any type of shampoo and conditioner you get at walmart is bad for ur hair. Except for suave professionals! i also heard that others places.
HOPE I HELPEDLadies!!!! What is your absolute favorite shampoo%26amp;conditioner?
A few of my friends use Biolage and have beautiful full soft hair. I started using it and I am starting to get that too. My hair sheds A LOT, but I don't see balding or excessive thiness, so I don't worry about because some people just are like that. If it concerns you that much or you weren't always like that, see a doctor if you can physically pull out a handful of hair without much effort. Good luck, take care!
I have the same problem. Your losing your hair from stress, not shampoo %26amp; conditioner. I do notice that when I do use certain products it falls out a little more. Right now i've given up on the volumizing products and moved on to Loreal Vive Pro gloss. It's ok.
Anything by Enjoy.
Especially the ';Luxury'; shampoo. Smells so goood!!

What is the 3rd thing they put on your hair after shampoo and conditioner at Toni&Guy salons in the UK?
it's the thing they put on when they give you that sorta head massage thing (:What is the 3rd thing they put on your hair after shampoo and conditioner at Toni%26amp;Guy salons in the UK?
i think moisturizers that is what I think. What is the 3rd thing they put on your hair after shampoo and conditioner at Toni%26amp;Guy salons in the UK?
my guess is..semen.
lol jk i have absolutely no idea
They shampoo twice and then put in a conditioner x
Grow faster lotion, it is so that you will need to visit them again soon.
I always thought the did the massage thing with conditioner. Maybe you got two coats of conditioner?
Sometimes they do two shampoos and then condition, but sometimes they do shampoo, conditioner then like a hair mask type thing i think, for when they do the massage. Well thats what i always assumed :)
I would presume it's volumiser %26amp; leave in conditioner,it could also be hair serum, if it was put on wet then it's probably just a scalp massage lotion, why don't you ask them?
probably gel

Can i use a conditioner instead of shampoo?
to wash my hair so that it would be more silky? i have thin hair and i want to only use shampoo only twice a week. but would that make my hair oily? wat would make my hair more silky? i heard olive oil is good. thanksCan i use a conditioner instead of shampoo?
using only conditioner will make your hair super greasy and gross looking. shampoo is what's going to give your thin hair volume. I use paul mitchells green tea stuff and it's awesome. Can i use a conditioner instead of shampoo?
Every single person who has answered NO to this question is completely uninformed. Seriously, thousands of women only use ';conditioner'; to wash their hair. You just have to watch ingredients carefully.
Most shampoos contain sodium lauryl sulfate and other harsh detergents which can cause hair to get rough and unruly. There are other surfactants that can be used to clean the hair and scalp effectively. There's an entire movement of women doing this.
I currently use Suave conditioner to wash my hair. It contains a cationic surfactant that works just fine. If you scrub properly, you won't have any problems at all, AND your hair has a better chance at regaining its moisture and pH balance. :)
Good luck - if you go the all-conditioner route, it can be difficult to find the right combination of products to start. Don't get discouraged - NaturallyCurly.com has a great message board too with lots of folks who can give you good advise (even if you're not curly!).
I have the exact problem but i used a little amount of shampoo and then get just a squirt of conditioner and only use on the part away from your head like from the neck down and if you want it to be thicker use herbal essences thickening shampoo trust em it works after about a month your hair will start getting thicker
Nah, you need to use shampoo. I don't know what ethnicity you are or what your hair is like besides just ';thin'; but I would recommend washing it every other day with shampoo, use conditioner after the shampoo, just use a little and put it on the ends, not the roots of the hair, then rinse with cold water for a better shine.
no, conditioner is not a cleaning product. It will make your hair look oily. Shampooing your hair twice a week is fine, but only using conditioner is not a real good idea. Matrix makes a really good shine serum that will help you.
it probably would make your hair oily. maybe just rinse your hair, condition and blow dry. or try using a deep conditioner for fine hair. pure coconut oil is good for a preconditioner and ive heard olive oil is good but ive never tried it
I use shampoo and conditioner one day, then just conditioner the next, then shampoo and conditioner again the next day. If you want your hair shiny, wash it in really cold water. Hope it goes well!!
No way,,,, if you're hair is fine you dont want to use a lot of conditioner at all. just put it on you ends and wash your hair every other day. do two shampoos and a nickel size bit of conditioner. ur hair will look great!
Greasy, greasy, greasy.
you NEED to use shampoo ur hair will get gross if you dont. u could try washing your hair only when its necessary so you dont strip it of its natural oils too often. and u could use a leave in conditioner
Ew. You should use both! Wash your hair three times a week (or every time you sweat) and condition everyday.
HAHA

When used in your hair does tea tree oil work as a shampoo or a conditioner?
It would dry out your hair a bit. People use it With shampoo, 2-3 drops in your hand with shampoo and lather that on the scalp to cure/prevent dandruff problems. But not as a conditioner, I suppose it is closer to a shampoo. When used in your hair does tea tree oil work as a shampoo or a conditioner?
Neither...teatree oil is an antiseptic...used for nail fungus, infection and stuff like that, i don't know were you got that idea to put that onto your hair...but castor oil works wonder to help keep your hair in good shape!!When used in your hair does tea tree oil work as a shampoo or a conditioner?
Only if you get shampoo or conditioner with it.
It doesn't work like that by itself.
not as it is. my friend adda several drops of tea tree oil to shampoo
if you keep using itmake up

It depends: for cheap: i would say Head And Shoulders for Dandruff
For just good quality i would say Dove (and cheap)What is the best shampoo and conditioner you can buy? cheap and expensive?
Head and Shoulders has a dandruff shampoo/conditioner that comes in a ton of different scents, and isn't just for dandruff anymore. Just general hair washing. That's the cheap one. (: You can buy it at drug stores for about $3 a bottle.
Biolage shampoos and conditioners are the best you can buy. They're $20 a bottle, but work amazingly. You can buy them at salons. Trust me, Biolage makes your hair so silky smooth! What is the best shampoo and conditioner you can buy? cheap and expensive?
I can honestly give you the truth and say Pantene Pro-v i mean this is coming from a girl with unbelievably thick curly and frizzy hair and it at least keeps it manageable and very soft plus i hear the shampoo and conditioner carry vitamins to keep the hair strong and healthy.... but with all honesty i love it!! What do you thin About Tresemme'S Shampoo And Conditioner?
O.k i swiched to tresemme's shampoo aniti breakage and it's moustier conditioner and i was just wondering is it o.k to Use if your (afriacan american)? caues i use it and it smells really good. And i was just wondering if you black how many times to wash you hair i wash my hair onces or twice a week.If you think tresemme isnt for my type of race what shampoo do you think is for me. But the the only reson why i use tresemme is becaues on the wedsite take there hair test and it says somthing like whats your ethnicity so go to (www.tresemme.com) the click get profiled. :)What do you thin About Tresemme'S Shampoo And Conditioner?
tresemme is crap use a higher end product like paul mitchell or bumble and bumble kms is pretty good too. the amount of times you wash your hair is pretty good though. your hair creates its own protective oil, washing it every day eliminates its oil and can cause it to dry out, keeping the oils help breakage and split endsWhat do you thin About Tresemme'S Shampoo And Conditioner?
Phallon, I tried to use Tresemme's shampoo on my hair and it was horrible. It didn't give me that softness I wanted and it dried my hair completely out. I really don't believe in buying a shampoo that is specifically for our race, because I think that even though we're people of color, we still have different hair types; what may work for my hair might not work for yours. In other words, I look for a shampoo which I think is going to be good for my hair. I normally stick with these two: Infusium and Therma silk. They smell great and I've gotten excellent results from both of them. Especially Therma Silk, it works great with blow drying and flat ironing. :)
Oh, and I wash my hair every other day.
its really good!im not african american but im asian and i use it its great!

yeah I used to have the hair like that I used BIOSILK you can buy at Target or Beauty Salon there's conditioner shampoo and oil.My hair is flat, oily, and has some dandruff. Is there a shampoo/conditioner i can use to make it look good?
Try some HEAD %26amp; SHOULDERS, SELSON BLUE or NEUTROGENA T-GEL shampoo.. Also, start using conditioner for dandruff... If you hair is flat you may want to get a different haircut as well...
Good luck
i think you should use a cleansing/volumizing shampoo.
and conditioner.
daily :)
whatever you do, DONT USE PANTENE
herbal essences rocks though

Try some HEAD %26amp; SHOULDERS, SELSON BLUE or NEUTROGENA T-GEL shampoo.. Also, start using conditioner for dandruff... If you hair is flat you may want to get a different haircut as well...
Good luck
i think you should use a cleansing/volumizing shampoo.
and conditioner.

herbal essences rocks though

Good shampoo and conditioner that makes your hair shiny, smooth, and soft, etc.?
I'm an asian with black hair (I'm a girl), and its about halfway to my waist. It's sort of dull. Tips are also appreciated, and a good leave-in conditioner would be nice. Please don't say Pantene, and I don't use hair styling products. Thanks a lot in advance!Good shampoo and conditioner that makes your hair shiny, smooth, and soft, etc.?
I KNOW! pantene is crap...any way haha i use suave shampoo and conditioner a lot of people were like ';you hair is so shiny just like the commercials! what do you use?'; but i use the matching kind of shampoo and conditioner; the coconut kind(it works better than the other ones for some reason...idk why) but i hope that helps =DGood shampoo and conditioner that makes your hair shiny, smooth, and soft, etc.?
i'm asian too with black hair. use aussie! their whole line of products is great. i use aussie 3 minute miracle to get my hair soft. it's like a conditioner but leave in for 3 minutes and rinse. i just recently bought their products because it went on sale and find out that it's better than pantene or other expensive products. guaranteed!
Okay, this is going to sound extremely weird. Because I was like, hell no! When I heard this.. But.. Try 1 tablespoon of milk and 1 tablespoon of honey.. I know its weird. And if not, use Dove or Tresemme. Or yes, Aussie.

Yeh, African American hair tends to be poofy once it dries. It's normal. Straightening could be causing alot of split ends, making your hair even more poofy and ragged at the ends. I'm black and I use Garnier Fructis. It works really good and doesn't completely tangle my hair, like most shampoos.
i have the same problem
theres this herbal essences stuff and its called pin straight try it!
its awesome!!
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free, plus...it smells awesome! They have different collections for different hair types which are all amazing!

2 part question about shampoo and conditioner?
1) what kind of shampoo should i use, my hair gets greasy if i dont wash it and in the mornings its very difficult for me to get the bed head hair to lay down. it tends to stick up no matter what. right now i just use what ever is available. oh and i usually wash it at night before i go to bed if that helps
2) what the heck is conditioner and why do i need it?
anything else just ask and ill add to it2 part question about shampoo and conditioner?
Suave clarifying shampoo. It gets rid of greasyness great.
If you are a girl or a guy with long hair you NEED conditioner. It smooths out your hair and keeps it hydrated and healthy. It will help lay down the bed head. Get anytype that sounds appealing to you2 part question about shampoo and conditioner?
Well, since i don't really know what conditioner is for,
i'll just answer your first question:
So i had the same problem as you (the whole greasy hair thing)
one day, i asked my friend angie (she is a hair stylist) and i told
her my problem. Her solution was Tresseme, but the wierd part was
that she suggested i use the one for normal type hair.
I was a bit skeptical, but i took her advice and bought the Tresseme
shampoo and conditioner for normal type hair, that night i had washed
my hair with the new product. The next day, it was not greasy at all.
I decided not to wash my hair again that morning to see if it would
really work. By the end of the day, no grease had develouped in my
hair. S once again, i suggest you use Tresseme, Normal type.
Good luck :)
Conditioner helps ur hair to not be tangly, smooth and help with frizzyness and split ends to protect it.

What shampoo and conditioner do you use?
Head and Shoulders or Loreal Paris in the pink bottleWhat shampoo and conditioner do you use?
Herbal essences or aussie. Aussie is really ace. What shampoo and conditioner do you use?
herbal essence
long term relationship
[its for long hair]
it smeelllss sooooo good
red raspberryy
=D
right now i am using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner made by VO5... but once i run out of this i will probably switch shampoo and conditioner again...i try not to use the same stuff for very long!!
John Frieda blonde shampoo n conditioner
First, I use Panteen shampoo. Then, I use selson blue, but only on my scalp. Last, I use Panteen conditioner on the tips of my hair. Its an easy way for no dandruff, silky hair.
Herbal Essence.
John Freida for curly hair.
pantene
I'm using the supersoft yoghurt n red berries one at the moment, it smells gorgeous! Others I like are Catwalks oatmeal %26amp; honey, treseme brunette, dove colour protect and herbal essences fruit frusions!
herbal essences or aussie i love aussie
I try different shampoos all the time. Since i straighten it alot and do stuff that can damage it, i am using that Dove Intense Therapy Shampoo..its really good. I am a big fan of Aussie 2!
BED HEAD., My sister in law gets it for use, i pay around 拢18 for shampoo and conditioner, the bottle are very big and you can get it from any of the top salon's in the UK, I got my around Christmas and its just run out and that's with the four of us using it every other day.
different shampoos and conditioners react differently for different people ((for example, dove makes my hair oily at the roots and dry at the ends but my sister loooves it)). i have long and somewhat thin hair and i have found that aussie, herbal essences, pantene, and tresemme all keep my hair very soft and shiny. the important thing is to keep a rotation going, which is why i use more than just one of these. i switch every month to keep it fresh. otherwise the effects a specific brand had in the beginning will no longer have its effect. try out some different brands and see what works for you.

Anyone know a brand of shampoo & conditioner that smells like pure roses?
I am a huge fan of the pure smell of roses. I wear a perfume called Tear Rose and use this rose scented lotion that i bought from Ross. i have been looking for a shampoo %26amp; conditioner that has this smell also. Is the Dove Shampoo and conditioner good for your hair?
If it isn't can you plz tell me some good shampoo's and conditioner's plz:) THANX:)Is the Dove Shampoo and conditioner good for your hair?
yes its great and it helps untangle your hair as well.Is the Dove Shampoo and conditioner good for your hair?
depends upon your skin nature
Panteeeeeeeeeeeeen
sudzz fx cashmere and the condtioner moxie is the best its high end but worth it its hard to find tho sold in hair salons
My girlfriend likes Dove, so that's what I buy her. Alotta stores are starting to carry Sunsilk products, and we tried the shampoos, conditioners and hair masque, and we were really pleased with them. Dove's scent is a little too feminine for me. I normally use Paul Mitchell products, because they have a nice unisex scent that's not overly feminine, but I might start using the Sunsilk products because they aren't overly feminine smelling.
the cheapest brand of shampoo and conditioner work the same as the more expensive. it contains the same ingredients and the ones thats say it has all these other weird ingredients dont even penetrate the hair. it gets washed right down the drain. so basically we are wasting our money on a brand when they all work the same
I like it (Dove) Panteen so too expensive for the same result, the shine comes from silicone as it coats your hair in this so is it good for you...I don't really know I am a registered nurse not a hairdresser ask one of them they should be able to tell you but mostly they will try and have you buy their product instead.
If your hair is weak %26amp; needs extra care then Dove products are better. They are not harsh on your hair. More than the shampoo, the conditioner one uses matters a lot. Try using Revlon's flex,i bet you will love your hair once you start using that. It smells great.
All the best.
its not bad for your hair but u shouldnt stick with the same shampoo. it can ruin your hair. try new products every couple of months.
No, the ph is to high and can strip your hair of the oils you need. Try matrix.
It's not really good for your hair because it coats it with a waxy substance. It might make your hair look good for a couple of times, but it will end up just weighing it down and making it dull. Clarifying shampoos work well, along with a light weight conditioner. I like the spray-on conditioners because I can concentrate it on the ends with only a little at the crown. Make sure not to rub your head too hard with the towel, it will give you split ends.

Shampoo and conditioner for african american women??
I alternate going to a salon every other week. This is the week that i will be doing my hair at home.(i plan on doing a doobie wrap) But i've noticed that every time i wash and condition my hair at home that it looks kinda dull. I am going to sally's tomorrow..can anyone recommend something?
I also heard mineral oil in hair is bad. is that true?Shampoo and conditioner for african american women??
Creme of Nature or Mane 'n Tail. Both products worked really well for me. Never had dull lifeless hair.Shampoo and conditioner for african american women??
Firstly, I realize that I look white, white, white, but my daddy is African American and I have naturally kinky hair. Mineral oil isn't as bad for your hair as it is for your your hair follicles. It clogs them. I use Pantene Relaxed and Natural and my hair is soft and shiny. If you are going to Sally's you should also grab a big tub of Cholesterol. It is a thick, yellow conditioner that is absolutely fabulous that you could your once a week. Good luck!
if you cut your hair short you wont have this problem
if not, let the conditioner be on for a longer timemake up

What is your Favorite shampoo & conditioner?
Bain De Terre (Bath of the earth) for color treated hair. It moisturizes and lasts ten times longer than any shampoo I have ever used. It smells fantastic, and helps color to last. I would say it is the only shampoo I have ever used that actually does what it advertises.
I would highly recommend this brand. What is your Favorite shampoo %26amp; conditioner?

How long does your shampoo/conditioner last?
do you use it to the last drop? How long does your shampoo/conditioner last?
yes.
it doesn't last long. but, i have really long hairHow long does your shampoo/conditioner last?
usually about 3 weeks. every time i buy shampoo and conditioner i see this other brand that i want to use, so i use u the one i have very fast and go buy the other one. The one that I am using right now is Bed Head control freak.
Yes, and I find that just buying shampoo for the shower and then conditioning with a leave in conditioner spray works 10x better and makes it last a million times longer.
I use mine to the last drop. It takes me about 2-3 months to run through a 15 oz. bottle.
the shampoo= about 2 or 3 weeks
conditoner= i run thre it like water.. A week or so
I could make a bottle last forever ... never use the stuff!

heck no it falls out.Does horse shampoo and conditioner REALLY make your hair grow faster er no?
Well i am a horseback rider and i have spent more then my fair share of time washing horses and ive used horse shampoo and conditioner (mane and tail) and i know it makes your hair unbelievably soft and shiny. I dont know about making it grow longer but it is extra good for your hair since it is used for thick, coarse horse hair.
It depends on what hair type you have.I'm African-American and i tried it.It made my hair frizzy and unmanageable.
I use it all the time when I go to my friend's ranch. .it never seems to actually make my hair grow. It just makes it shinier and stronger.make up

I can't rinse the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair! Can anyone help?
I recently moved to a new area, and ever since I have not been able to rinse the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair. A filmy residue is left on my hair everytime I shower. At first I thought maybe the water was too soft, but I have no problem rinsing the soap off my skin. Here is a list of what I have tried so far: handheld shower massage, shower filter, shampooing twice, using very little shampoo and even less conditioner, using water and vinegar, using vinegar and baking soda, using dish detergent (yes I know it's bad for you hair, but I was desperate). None of these have helped at all, and the residue just seems to be getting worse. It's difficult to even pull a comb or brush through it now because it feels ';sticky'; like there's a bunch of hairspray or gel in it. I don't know what else to do! Has anyone had a similar experience and found a solution?I can't rinse the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair! Can anyone help?
You need to invest in a good clarifying shampoo. It will get rid of all of the buildup in your hair.
A good one that I use is called Frederic Fekkai Apple Cider Clarifying Shampoo. It is good for all hair types, but especially oily hair, this shampoo rids hair of product buildup, chlorine, and environmental impurities. (Thats what the site says, and I believe it!) Its deep cleansing does not strip the hair of its essential oils.
Hope this helps!!I can't rinse the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair! Can anyone help?
use dove. then look up and rinse the water through your hair.
Well i dont know really what to do but you could try looking up the water in your area and try not using conditioner and browse extremely well and make sure to check the backs of shampoos and see if they can treat that. Good Luck!
take a conb in the shower with you %26amp; comb it through your hair after or even during the rinse....
It sounds like you might have good water now but had bad water before and were just used to it. If you hair is ';sticky'; feeling you might be getting it too clean (squeaky clean), which is bad for your hair. After you shampoo in the shower your hair should feel detangled and a bit on the slippery side. I would only say you have residue if your hair looks REALLY greasy after you dry it with no product in it. There are shampoos made for chlorine removal and some that are made for hard water minerals (check amazon.com). I would def skip the dish the soap ;) and stay with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner (I like dove and aussie moist). Your hair stylist might be able to take a look at your hair and give suggestions as well. Good luck!
I am not sure what is causing this if it isn't the water type. But, I def have a solution for getting residue off your hair. There are many many ';rumor'; remedies, but I have been doing the same for years and years. Carefully rinse your hair with white vinegar before you are going to get in the shower. If you have a shower cap, this def helps because the vingear does burn a little if it's on the skin. And, the longer you let it soak into your hair (not to the point where it's dry tho) the more it works. I due this once a week just to keep my hair always feeling really clean, but not too clean. Hopefully you get a chance to try this, it works great. And, I know the smell is awful, but it's totally worth it in the end.
