I was in the shower not to long ago and the question popped up. What is it that conditioner has in it to make hair so smooth?Why is it that conditioner makes hair smooth and shampoo doesn't really do anything?
cus shampoo cleans your hair..
its basic use is just to remove oil and grease from your hair..
if its too harsh, it can dry your head and make your hair all static.
thats why theres conditioner to make it smooth and soft.
in a way, conditioner is adding back some oils into your hair..
just good smelling, rather than the unshowered bad head smell.

shampoo's supposed to clean your hair and conditioner's supposed to make it feel silky.
